watching invincible season 2 and there is a pretty big theme of purpose I think I’m seeing? Invincible with the responsibilities he carries being a viltrumite, and realising he doesn’t have much time to live life as a normal person anymore and commit time to relationships anymore. Atom Eve struggling to find out if being a superhero is right for her, especially thanks to her parents. Omni-Man’s conflict of his personal desires versus the goals of Viltrum. Everyone seems very confused about their self worth lol
An odd little headcanon that I have is that Mark and William were each other’s first kiss…
They were young teens at the time and Will was crushing pretty hard on him. It’s a secret they’ve both kept to themselves since. Mainly because Mark just wasn’t receptive to it.. and so they just quietly agreed not to speak of it again.
It was a pretty big turning point for Will, and it caused a rift in their friendship during the period they were both still processing the entire interaction…
Now they’re older they just kind of view entire thing as just a thing that happened, but it still bonded them in a way neither really realised.
Mark was inadvertently William’s rock during that time. He was the first person he’d ever really expressed himself to, and yes while he was rejected.. Mark never judged him, and made efforts to try and pick up where they left off without worrying about it.

What if the good Viltrumites still had their standard white uniforms but this time they're allowed to decorate it however they please.
It's still white because it's an empty canvas for them to absolutely bedazzle, colour and add accessories to. Especially with the jewellery or paints from the planets they've brought under their protection.
Just imagine newly turned adults(their parents don't beat them to a pulp here) being so fucking exited, cause now they get to explore other species' cultures and decorate their uniforms. The more decorated the uniform the more accomplishments one has.
Everyone would have their own personal style. I will bet you that Kreig had a goth phase he never grew out of.
Conquest(kindquest?) would have the most rhinestones you cannot convince me otherwise. He could decorate his metal arm with metal engravings of flora or something if the scourge still hits
Viltrum in general would be more lively and its inhabitants more connected with at most self-expression. I think other species would be allowed to visit and live on the planet in this AU
I'm just imagining Viltrum looking like a literal star vomited rainbow 🌈 on the planet.
