Man nobody gives a shit about me. If I didn't exist one day nothing would change. Only one person would care, and for that person alone I exist. There used to be two, but the other died this year.
I'm trying so hard to carve my name into this world. To feel like I matter. I just don't.
That marshmallow syrup meant to come out soon is actually so good, but the graham cracker topping I think would be best suited for a cheesecake flavor syrup. Manifesting this.
Ugh I've had 1-2 hours of sleep and I'm trying to focus at this garbage job. Coffee helped me drive here, but that's about it. Deep eye bags. Keep bumping into stuff.
Cried my eyes out all morning after what happened. See prior post for details.
Don't care about anything. Struggling a lot to not fall back into old bad habits right now. I'm dangling by a thread.
I need to get out of here. I want to gnaw my arm off.
Family had a freak accident yesterday night and they're threatening me about my time so I have to come in I guess. I wanted to take today as a family emergency and use sick time (that I absolutely have plenty of BTW) but I guess I can't.
I had like two vacation days logged for this month a month in advance so I guess thats what they mean? Don't remember when I last called off sick lately. Not like I make a habit out of it. I'm usually very reliable. Actually was sick lately and didn't call off. Didn't tell anybody.
Meanwhile a family member had to be fucking airlifted to a different hospital for emergency treatment. I was up into the wee hours of the morning tending to freaking out family and ate next to nothing during the panic of it all. And I'm going in to make people coffee!! Hahaha isn't that great???? Everything is great! Fuck this stupid job, I'm going to go in and be fucking miserable and cry into peoples coffees on like no sleep. I hope I have a panic attack and throw up in the lobby.
I'm a great worker. I was partner of the quarter. I always come in on time and do my job well and treat everyone with respect and this is the thanks I get? Fuck all the way off.
Hope they're fucking happy. I'll remember this when I'm looking for a new job.

An older man marveled at the Vertica today. I said it grinds beans and brews them for every cup. He said something about how that must be why he likes it so much. Something else about his daughter that orders all the time.
It was nice. Nice interactions can and do happen here, in fact very often. Not everything is awful. In fact most things are at the very least pleasant.
The angry ones are often outliers, but of course their presence is much more vivid in day to day memory. Chalk it up to survival instincts.
Not sure if I could handle being a shift lead, but I think I might have to at some point to meet some financial goals in my life. We'll see I guess.
I always wish I could have a more respectable and professional job, but the last few times I tried to do that it ended in me being taken advantage of and lied to, and I make more money now than I did for any of those times.
Both of my career options ended up being wrecked by ai too, so I would have to go back to school to do anything else. Could do ASU so it wouldn't cost anything, but just being back at college would be a nightmare.
I've been shit on so many times by jobs. I just wanna win for once and not get so stressed I crack again.
Follow up on the last post, but I had a meltdown the day after that. Complete with hitting and kicking and crying and yelling.
I see a lot of allistics unable to process how meltdowns and the autistic experience as a whole feels. To them I say this: imagine your dog suddenly and horribly dies. Now imagine your dog dies if the lights are too bright. Your dog is killed when you are too stressed. Your dog dies if someone touches you repeatedly. That can be the emotional weight of autistic life in an uncaring world.
I just lost a dear pet so this is very prescient to my current experiences. The heaviness in my chest, the worry, the tears, the regrets, the lingering pain in my whole body out of grief. Feelings of that intensity are very similar to how the world sometimes makes me feel. Sometimes my reaction is to go numb, as I also did during that grief. Sometimes it comes out in anger.
After my breakdown, I'm still in full dissociation mode. Numbness. Unable to find joy in things. Every sound is overstimulating. I'm taking a day to recover, but I may have to function on fumes for a while to survive.
A lot of people see autistics through an allistic lens. In their eyes, an allistic would never act the way an autistic would unless they were trying to be manipulative, so they must be manipulative. Obviously this is untrue.
Our hypothetical dog died. Our feelings are big and our bodies are responding accordingly.
Kid threw up in the lobby yesterday and we had to close. It sounds nice to be able to close, but I went home incredibly stressed lol. I think it was because my routine/expectations were messed up. Also it was gross.
Autism be making you invent new emotions up in here. I was ecstaticly disassociated.
Why do the people I love all have to get sick. I've had enough brushes with death in my lifetime, and there's always more. I can't stop worrying now.
Why does it seem like every time I have something good it starts to fade. Someone else just left. Please, not you too...

Sometimes I'm on YouTube looking at drama vids or criticism of some art/media thing, and the person's avatar and attitude are excessively annoying.
Making shallow angry points that are as weak as overcooked angelhair pasta. Their avatar blinks their seven eyes at me. It assures me it knows what makes a good [media] as they tell me what they would have done. They cherrypick and miss the point of what they're watching and refuse to accept something for what it is on its own terms, and their solutions are either a sludge of obvious biases or that everyone should hate this thing.
Even if I also don't like this thing they are ranting about, their process makes me want to throw my monitor out a window and chew a hole in the drywall.
Be humble in your criticisms. Remember that your criticism might be the first thing someone encounters on this [media], and though you can't be entirely responsible for the actions of your audience, you should absolutely word your public arguments carefully as if you have an audience full of reactionary maniacs willing to stab for clout.
You should care about the size of the waves you make and the shores they roll into.
We have a very sweet older regular who comes in and gives us gifts occasionally. Lately, she has been handing out little good luck charms to my friends and I so that we stay safe lol.
When I signed up I never knew that customers could touch my heart in this way, and I'm glad to have met some truly wonderful people doing this job.
People really do make the world go 'round.
Everyone is traveling for graduation season, and so today's shift has been the most hectic in a VERY long time. Thankfully a lot of people aren't in a terrible hurry since they are vacationing, but I've been left in pain all over from the sheer amount of exercise I've gotten today lol. Running, lifting, jumping, squatting, the whole nine yards, plus our AC broke so we were all drenched in sweat. Peak didn't break until deep into the afternoon.
Anyway, saw lots of friends from all over lately. It's hopeful and a little sad to see everyone moving on to do great things. I only hope that what I'm doing is worthwhile to someone.
I rang up a customer for a tall cup of just cold foam and she was so thankful she tipped us a $20.
That is too much ma'am but thank you very much.
We as a society have to start writing female arousal the way we write male arousal. Hear me out here...
So often I feel like the language around female arousal is avoidant and passive. Bashful even. Male arousal in stories usually mentions their dick at least once or gets pretty direct with a character's wants or feelings.
So where's my "I felt my clit throb," is all I'm asking. Where's my "my pussy roared to life between my legs." Give me strong direct language for fem sexual desire. The feelings ain't always shy and fluffy.

God I can't fucking do this anymore.
Nice interaction with a guy that was hanging out in the café today.
He grabbed a window seat to do some work on a laptop earlier in the day, but eventually he came up to the counter and asked who picked the music station. The 80s playlist was on.
I said it was me, and he said, "I just wanted to say thank you. This brought me back to highschool prom."
It was such a heartwarming interaction. You're welcome, nostalgic customer.
