I’m really not into mocking anyone’s financial situation, but are you seriously comparing a man who made his own millions and built several companies with someone who managed one band for about five minutes and whose actual source of income remains a mystery to this day?

These are people who likely haven't even left their own hometowns; they fail to grasp that Sam isn't Jamie Fraser, and they possess absolutely zero capacity for reflection or analysis. Yet, the decision was made to feature these claims on blogs—and so, here we are: Caitriona’s delusional fans are in an uproar, while Sam’s delusional fans slavishly follow every crazy notion put forward by the head troll in the name of "love."
It feels as though we are evaluating events based on the premises of *Animal Farm*: "all animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others." A few days ago, the idea surfaced on Tumblr that Sam was having financial issues (much like the claims always made about her husband); however, because that assertion drove a delusional anonymous posts to spout such nonsense, the narrative has now shifted to insisting that—whatever else he may be—Sam is hardworking and ambitious, possessing a fortune built through his own effort.
Sam and Cait are both brilliant; they share an unmatched chemistry and are a force of nature together. The best part? That kind of bond cannot be faked, so the one certainty we have is that the connection is real. Call it what you will, and side with whichever part of the fandom you please; the truth of what they experience—as real people with real problems, real lives, and real (and personal) emotions—belongs solely to them, and it is nobody else's business.
