Weird fact: there's kind of a divide in the car fucker community where the guys (it's all guys) who full on fuck the cars tend to be straight (and accordingly treat the cars as feminine) but the guys who get off on breathing in exhaust fumes/smoke tend to be gay (and accordingly have fantasies about other men revving their cars into their faces).
