… so which kid gets in trouble first for sneaking a partner into the house? 😅
Not Miyeong obv, but any way Mira and Rumi are gonna be out for blood. Hopefully Zoey’s a little more civil 😅😅😅
Definitely Hani. She gives off the outward air of being very shy and quiet, but she’s the one who actually dates around the most out of her sisters in her teens. A lot of it is her experimenting with her sexuality, but some of it is to mess with her parents. During some press event that the Choi-Ryus attend when she’s 16, she meets the son of one of the executives of the network hosting the event, and thinks he’s kinda cute. They get along really well, and she kinda wants to get to know him better. She’s feeling a little mischievous, so she calls a car to take her home, sneaks him inside of it, and texts her parents that she was feeling sick and called a ride home.
They start making out a bit in her room. Nothing serious happens, but part of the reason for that is, in using feeling sick as an excuse to go home, she forgot her Eomma is EXTREMELY overprotective about even that. Mira bursts into the room right as he starts to push Hani’s jacket down her shoulders, several medicine boxes in hand, all of which get dropped on the floor with her jaw when she sees the boy whose hands are on her baby’s shoulders (INAPPROPRIATE).
She kicks him out (although not until she’s gathered literally every piece of information about him as she possibly can from him), calls her wives home, and stares Hani down while Hani crosses her arms and pouts on the bed.
She ends up getting grounded by her mothers for lying and sneaking a boy in, and her sisters make sure to taunt her about it as much as possible.
“Are you stupid? Like actually? How did you think you could away with that?” Jihae asks her incredulously standing in the doorway to her room.
Hani flips her the middle finger, but because she just can’t seem to win right now, Rumi is walking past right as she does it, and she gasps in outrage and shouts, “Hani! You just added an extra 15 minutes to your grounding, missy!” (She was only grounded for like, 12 hours, because Polytrix can’t help but spoil their kids).
Jihae laughs, but Rumi glares at her, and gives her a 30 minute grounding in her room, which she then grumbles about.
Aeri keeps going up to her doorway and taunting her with the fact that she’s allowed to walk around freely right now. Hani plots her revenge the entire time. (Aeri wakes up blue the next morning. As in, completely blue. Her whole body. She’s honestly too impressed to be mad.)
For as permissive as the 12 hour grounding seems, it does the job of scaring the Choi-Ryu kids from ever sneaking a partner in ever again.
(That is, until Taeyong does it when he’s 17. Polytrix are a little shocked that their 2 shyest kids are the ones who snuck partners in, but then Mira and Zoey think about Rumi, and they realize that being shy and still pulling just runs in the family.)
(Mira organizes all of the information she gathered on the boy and reveals it to Rumi and Zoey, and her and Rumi plot to do something to the boy, maybe get him kicked out of school or something. Zoey is exasperated because, “Guys, this is a teenager.”
Rumi points at the screen of information, directly at where his age is listed. “Yeah, but look! He’s older than her!” She shakes her head in disgust.
Mira grits her teeth and clenches her fist. “I’ll kill him. Kissing a younger girl like that. Disgusting.”
Zoey stares at her wives in bewilderment, unsure if they’ve lost their minds. “Yeah, he’s older than her by a year. He’s only 17!”
They struggle to respond to that.
Rumi sputters, and says, “W-well, it’s still highly inappropriate!”
Zoey laughs, astounded. “Oh? You think a 17 year old boy kissing a 16 year old girl is inappropriate?” She crosses her arms. “Then what would you call what you guys were doing to me, when I was 16 and you two were 18?”
Mira recoils. “W-hah, th-that’s different-”
Zoey continues, “And Rumi, it’s real bold of you to call a 17 year old boy and a 16 year old girl just kissing inappropriate, when I was 16 and you were almost 19 the first time you touched my-”
“Okay!” Rumi interrupts, face bright red. “Point taken. We won’t do anything.” She grimaces. “And PLEASE don’t phrase it like I was a gross 19 year old perving on a 16 year old. You were months closer to turning 17 than I was to turning 19.”
Zoey shrugs. “Stones and glass houses, babe.”)
