Feminine: Hand of Glory

- Name is from Adipocere. Since there's a lot of fem characters in Iyowa, I just went with Ada since her color scheme has lots of reds/pinks, typically associated with femininity, and to match with Urapocere

Masculine: Chains of hatred

- Name is from Urapocere. Back when I made this term, there were no canon boy/masc characters in the Iyowaverse (more on this later), so I chose Urapocere given that a common theory is that the singer of Urapocere is Ada's (ex) boyfriend. Even without that reading, the cover art for the song has lots of blue, also typically associated with masculinity

Androgynous: Paradoxical Undressing

- The name for this is based off this theory from the Iyowa wiki: "Paradoxical undressing is a phenomenon found in the late stages of hypothermia in which a person begins removing clothing, effectively leading to death in most cases. Similarly, at the end of Adipocere's MV, Ada frantically removes all of her layers except for her base dress. She is depicted in the same state of undress in the (Urapocere) crossfade artwork." So essentially this theory applies to both songs. I wanted to have the name tie together both Adipocere and Urapocere in some way since androgynous is a mix of fem and masc.

Neutral: Golden Number

- I mainly chose Golden Number because of neutrality being associated with yellow. You could argue that the overall vagueness of the song's meaning gives the feeling of it not leaning towards any quality in particular. Flag colors are from the cover art

Null: Taboo

- This name isn't just a reference to I Am Taboo, Taboo in Iyowaverse seems to be some sort of entity that appears in different songs. (Golden Number, Last Journey, possibly Red Phobia?) There's different theories on what exactly it represents, like suicidal thoughts, death itself, emptiness, etc. Since null is described as being 'empty' and 'voidlike', I thought the Taboo entity would fit. I think also the vagueness on what it is exactly helps it fit null. Flag colors are from I Am Taboo since that's where the Taboo is mainly known from.

Xenine: UFO

- Name is from Take you to an alien. Since the xeno- prefix is associated with aliens, I thought this was a pretty obvious choice. The flag colors are from the MV, with purple added from the xenine flag.

Outherine: AKUMA

- As I believe outherinity is known for being 'outside of the known boundaries', I chose AKUMA since it stands out alot, due to the song being entirely in english unlike the rest of his songs. As for the flag. I actually cannot remember the reasoning for the design behind this flag ? (my consequences for doing this post like 5 months late) I know the colors come from the cover art, I think maybe I wanted to make it 'stand out' more to represent outherinity?

Omnine: Jackpot

- Omnine is a combination of all other gender qualities; I chose Goodbye Jackpot for this since the song lyrics reference (almost) every single song Iyowa made up to that point. Plus, the omnine flag is rainbow, and Goodbye Jackpot is represented with rainbow colors, it felt like a perfect choice. This is prolly my favorite flag I made out of all of these. I Love Goodbye Jackpot

Infinitive: Monkey of Eternity / M O E

- MOE is about the infinite monkey theorem, hence the name. This was pretty straightforward. MOE doesn't have any official character/MV art as of writing this, so I sort of just added brown with the infinitive flag, since that felt like a good fit.

Aqualitine: Lizard's tail

- Name is from The Lizard's Heart. The singer sees themselves as just someone amongst the crowd, and doesn't seem to have a lot of defining traits unlike a lot of the other characters in Iyowa, so I figured that fit with aqualitine. For the flag, I also wasn't really sure what to do with it since The Lizard's Heart also doesn't have any MV or character art. I think I went with orange/brown due to associating that with lizards..

Autonine: Babel

- Babel is a song about changes in life and the burdens of growing up. It's most likely a very personal song to Iyowa, and it's a struggle many can relate to, so I thought giving it autonine would fit. The flag is a gradient like the autonine flag, with the teal being swapped for red from the MV.

Soporine: Sleeping Pink Noise

- Sleepy quality..sleeping pink noise..also straightforward lmao. The flag is the soporine flag with the bottom three stripes shifted to the pink that's used in the SPN album cover art. I think I changed the top 3 to match with it more. Honestly when I think about it, I could've used Dreaming Scales for this one, but I wanted to have it lined up with Heritage and Sunny Spots since that's satisfying.

Maverine: Heritage

- Name is from the 'Watashi No Heritage' album. Since maverinity centers around individuality and autonomy, I thought the name 'Heritage' would be a good fit for it. WNH also contains most of the self contained stories out of all his albums I believe, which helps with that as well. The flag colors were picked from the WNH album cover art, a bit bolder to match the maverine flag.

Aporine: Sunny Spots

- Name is from the 'Films, Sunny Spots, Graduations' album. Aporine and maverine are said to be similar with the difference being aporine can encompass neutrality while maverinity cannot (please correct me if im wrong on this i'm not good with definitions). Because of the similarities, I went with FSSG since it's a continuation of WNH and also ties up some threads from SPN, while still having its own independent stories. Flag colors were picked from the FSSG album cover art.

Kenoine: Back of the earth

- Name is from Leave you on the Back of the earth. I chose this song as the MV definitely gives that 'uncanny' feeling as the setting is an elevator in an endless red void. There's also a common theory that the song takes place at somewhere in between life and death, which would fit the liminal aspect. Themes like darkness, vastness and nonhumanity are also prevalent in the song. The red in the flag represents the red void, with the purple and black representing kenoine.

Unidentifiable: Secret 15th track

- On the CD release of Sleeping Pink Noise, there's a secret 15th track not listed on the tracklist, hence it being 'unidentifiable'. It's actually an album-exclusive remix of Don't Return To The Water Corpse, which is what I picked the colors from, with the colors being more muted. The purple is the same from the unidentifiable flag but also more muted.

Gynine: Actress

- Similar to Hand of Glory, there's lots of women in the Iyowaverse, so I went with Actress to match with Apocalypse Creation as their songs are connected. The flag colors are from the cover art for Actress.
