Like realizing they didn't have to carry that pregnancy to term when they weren't totally ready for a child. Realizing that letting something happen to you is just as much making a choice as changing it. That infuriates them I think. Or maybe it makes them double down.

Another example: we notice newlywed Christians talking about how HARD marriage is and how men are incompetent but still should be in charge, and they're basically just preaching to themselves to justify their decision to settle for someone who is careless and disgusts them.

Like when people suggest that men and women aren't so different, that men aren't just sexually driven monsters, that there's good men out there, that you can actually not marry a man if you hate them so much, that is a threat to them. Because they didn't conceive those options before and now they've made their choice.

I think that's one reason why they hate LGBT people so much. Because out LGBT chose to live in a way that fits their genuine attraction or gender and makes them happy instead of miserable. And I think part of them goes "That was an option? I could be happy and not just holy? That can't be right. Must be sinful."

This nut job belongs on an FBI watch list.

They go on runs to protect the child if they feel even the slightest threatened no matter where. If the child needs them to go on vacation with them, they do. Bikers come from across the nation to watch over and take shifts for these kids. And the best part is once you’re adopted into this family as a BACA kid, you’re always one. Even when you’re 40 and the perp gets released from jail, they’ll come meet with you and find your best options for avoiding the person and maintaining the life you’ve built for yourself. Once a BACA child, always a BACA child. In Florida, there’s 100% rate for identifying the perp based on the child’s testimony. Why? Because BACA stands with the child and supports the child so they feel comfortable enough to point out their attacker.

They’re in Canada as well and probably other countries. I met and talked with a native guy who runs the place near me. His name is Shaman. I got in, and I’m considered a BACA child now. Despite being 17, turning 18 when I talked to them. They spent time with me when my abuser was over, they gave me therapy resources. They give you something called a ‘level 1′ where they go to your house with as many bikers as they can, i shit you not a solid 20-40 bikers came from even out of province, and met me. I got to choose my biker name and I got a vest with patches on it and my name on it. They all hugged a Teddybear before giving it to me, and told me if I ever felt the BACA bear was running out of love, to give them a call and they’d refill it for me, and then I got a ride on one of their bikes. Just a day or so ago I went to an annual party with them and they we ate food one of them cooked and had a lot of laughs. 

I’ve never felt as loved as I did being a part of the BACA family. They also gave me dog tags with the names, and phone numbers of my 2 workers.  So I can call them whenever I feel scared. 

BACA is an absolutely wonderful group that will do everything in it’s power to help any child whos been abused. 

And it doesn’t end when you’re 18 either. As long as you get in contact/get your level 1 before you’re 18? you’re ALWAYS a BACA kid. I’m 18 now and they still invite me to parties, ask me if I’m okay, and are there for me. They’re still trying to find me resources for therapy. 

BACA has changed my fucking life.

Let's talk about skinship. Skinship is not what makes a ship sink or swim. It is super common to be touchy and casual with close friends. International fans sometimes struggle with what's friendly and whats more than when it comes to skinship simply because it is not the norm for us. It is even less in the norm for us to see these causal touches between men. If you saw two women snuggled up on the couch together, you wouldn't have a hard time accepting they are only friends. But seeing two men do the same thing and people feel like they would only do that if they are romantically involved. Men need more platonic affection, seriously.

It would be normal to see 2 men who are good friends holding hands walking down the street. Hugs and head kisses are also the norm. Feeding each other, hugs, cuddles all normal between good friends and people you care about/trust. International fans blow it out of proportion because they are used it and don't take the culture into consideration. Just like the fansite anniversary ads that you mentioned. So what's the big deal with the skinship? There isn't. Unless you count that it showcases how cute, lovable and sweet all their bonds are together, because that is definitely true!

BTS is even closer than your normal "close friends." I've said it a lot and I'll continue to say it often. BTS have some weird boundaries with each other, meaning they really don't have any. Lmao. I think part of that stems from how tightly packed into a one bed one bath dorm they were for such a long time. Sleeping, showering, eating, going to the bathroom all literally on top of each other and sometimes with each other when short on time... well that bonds you in ways other people probably couldn't ever really understand. So their skinship gets even more "next level" at times without it changing from platonic levels.

Context and intention is super important in understanding if skinship is platonic or romantic in nature. You can have a friend slap your ass, call you hot as all hell, kiss your forehand, rub your thigh and tuck you under their arm for cuddles, and it be nothing but platonic. And honestly, I swear BTS, especially Jungkook, have a secret love language of ass slapping. Its constant with them!

There definitely is a difference though with context and intention in how BTS touch each with normal skinship and say (we all knew this was coming, you know who I think are more than just platonic in bts) how Jungkookie will sometimes melt when Jimin touches him. Or say how flustered Jikook make each other with simple touches. Context and intention. For example, normal skin skip, a sweet YoonMin back hug:

And then we have Jikook, same type of hug, same moment of resting their head on the person they are hugging. The vibe though? Totally different. The context and intention, not the same. It feels *different*:

We have moments where Jungkook piggybacks everyone and everyone enjoys carrying Jimin around and Jimin gives out a few rides as well:

Its not a competition or really a comparison. They are all special and beautiful moments between every single one of them. But when you look at skinship, its important to make sure you recognize what you are seeing within the norms of the Korean Culture and not through a western gaze. BTS are all overly touchy and all over each other. Its important to not base a "ship" just on skinship. I think Jikook are more than platonic because of many many reasons, which I have talked about before in my Vminkook Dynamics part 3 post. Most of which is the exclusivity and uniqueness they have to their bond and how they seek each other out all the time. The skinship can play into it, but its also so much more than that.

Its the eyes starting to close and the contentment in his smile for me...
