My landlord pasted an ai generated ass eviction notice on my door because you have to cite a reason and he doesn’t have one so he just chopped that section out brother you cannot be serious

Would you like the added layer that he did this right after I tested for mold in my house and it was quite literally in every room and he came here to check out the hole in my ceiling that he has left unrepaired for two years

im gonna fight this in any way I can obviously but I want out of here as soon as possible I can’t get a new place until the end of this month but I do need to save for movers and a moving truck and a deposit. I also live with my mom who is severely disabled and I take care of which makes things more complicated. update on this: he dropped the eviction and gave us until the end of the month to leave, we both have apartments lined up in two different cities and are planning on moving on the 25th but as of right now dont have close to enough to cover all the expenses of renting a truck, down payments and gas. i think people really under sell the physical side effects of mental health disorders sometimes. like sure the depression and anxiety may be 'just in your head' but when what's in your head happens to disrupts your sleep schedule and prevent you from going outside regularly and eating consistent meals and exercising and generally taking care of your body. well it sure takes its toll huh.

Hey. Why isn’t the moon landing a national holiday in the US. Isn’t that fucked up? Does anyone else think that’s absurd?

It was a huge milestone of scientific and technological advancement. (Plus, at the time, politically significant). Humanity went to space! We set foot on a celestial body that was not earth for the first time in human history! That’s a big deal! I’ve never thought about it before but now that I have, it’s ridiculous to me that that’s not part of our everyday lives and the public consciousness anymore. Why don’t we have a public holiday and a family barbecue about it. Why have I never seen the original broadcast of the moon landing? It should be all over the news every year!

It’s July 20th. That’s the day of the moon landing. Next year is going to be the 54th anniversary. I’m ordering astronaut shaped cookie cutters on Etsy and I’m going to have a goddamn potluck. You’re all invited.
