i need the people on here to read the sophie fournier books!! the people yearn for sophie fournier!! i cannot be the only person on here who regularly loses their mind over sophie fournier!!
so when is a lesbian director going to read the sophie fournier series and create a hockey show for us. have you guys heard of my new friend sophie fournier. she looks like this. she’s the first woman to play for the n(a)hl. she’s incredibly lonely and angry but hides it so well that everyone calls her a boring hockeybot. she has to be the best or they won’t let her play. she has a swedish girlfriend who switched positions after meeting her Once in hopes that they’d play together on a line someday.

Terran subject test log: We make them kissy kiss
watermelon is crazy because you're eating it and you eat so much of it and it's awesome and then not even 30 minutes later you have to pee and it's the most anyone has ever peed.
Oops! 22 for me tee hee
I’m gonna be so fr rn, yall gotta stop acting like women’s sports only contributions/offerings are 1) that most of the athletes are queer 2) some sort of “morally pure” version of the sport. you don’t realize that you’re doing it but you’re de-valuing them to a point of queerness + morality meter. which the latter is just insane when there are POS’ amongst women’s sports
“Don’t watch the NHL, watch the PWHL! They’re actually gay!” why is that the only selling point to you

i keep my stupid heart WIDE OPEN at all times #myStupidHeart
guys the amount of times I cried at this wedding was crazy. and I cried because I was so happy, which never happens to me. here is a small list (not everything)
-when the officiant mentioned same-sex marriage getting legalized & threats to that decision (the lesbian couple sitting in front of me, not the ones getting married, was also really weeping for this one)
-i talked to that couple afterwards and one of them has an ex-wife and two children who are in high school. it just really made me think about how we're finally getting to live queer lives and begin again and do all the things everyone else gets to do. yay gay divorce ! ! !
-looking at the grey in the couple getting married's hair. they're both in their mid 50s and I... it made me see a future for myself. like. not to get too deep about it but all I ever feel for the future is worry and looking at them made me feel hope
-listening to their vows to each other. they're so clearly in love and they did their vows in the form of promises to each other and it was big stuff about commitment but also little things about listening to each other even when it's about stuff the other doesn't care about. idk it meant a lot to me.
-when I learned that the couple who was getting married met 27 years ago when one of them gave a fire torch safety demo to the jewelry making class the other was in & they stayed friends through it all until about 6 years ago when they got together. that's adorable
-walking around their beautiful garden (it was a backyard wedding) and looking at their peonies and white irises and all the plants and I just was surrounded by this life they built together and their dog who is their child was following me around and it was a beautiful day. it felt so real and so tangible and like something I could have one day
