grian before being friends w scar would've gone through w it, using other people just to feel something and get out of his head for a while. he thinks he just needs to get laid and his feelings (even if he doesn't know that they're Feelings) for scar will fade naturally, but he can't actually go through w it. for some reason, his heart is loyal and he doesn't wanna keep doing casual anymore. and then he's too sad and mopey during the summer break to think about it lol

HE IS taurtis is mentioned super briefly as being a friend of grian’s who does endurance. they still talk a lot!! they’re that genre of best friends who can go weeks and months without talking and then they do, and it’s like they never left. leading up to like, le mans or the end of the season, they won’t talk super often, but they do make time for each other when they can. grian tries to go to at least one of taurtis’ races during the summer break because he does enjoy showing up publicly for him too

2.) omg absolutely. they have soo much fun w their spam accounts, they legit only follow each other and a few non racing friends but like, most of them probably have less than 40 followers on their privates. spam accounts is such a minor detail but it’s such a fun one

but~ if it were to happen, i don’t think it would be on purpose! it would be a complete accident, and it would happen exclusively between sam and scar. maybe they run into each other like, at the store. something super mundane, but it happens, and as much as scar wants to say something once he recognizes who this person is, he knows sam is someone that grian has moved on from and would want nothing to do w him. as much as scar would want to say something or even smack the shit out of him, he doesn’t, out of respect for grian and grian alone
