Hello 👋, My name is Momen Al Madhoun / I am a digital artist / a devoted husband / a father of two children " Ezzdeen & Amir "
I live in Gaza City in the heart of the Genocide, working tirelessly to amplify my voice to the world through my artwork.
I walk long distances to access electricity and internet, creating under harsh conditions to ensure my voice reaches the Tumblr community through my art.
I hope you support me to continue surviving and ensure the safety of my family.
Thank you for your time. Stay safe 🙏
The thought of a child accidentally seeing something of a gruesome nature through a phone screen alone is upsetting. The thought of a child witnessing something of that sort, even for a singular moment, is horrifying.
The knowledge that Gazan children have been endlessly living through unspeakable trauma for over 400 days now, waking up to it, falling asleep to it, experiencing it through themselves and through their loved ones is bleak beyond words. Nothing else seems to matter anymore beyond that.
Today I'm thinking of my friend Nader @abdelsalam1990 who is only 17. On the precipice of adulthood. One of many of an entire generation of Gazans who are growing up through this genocide. When he should be discovering more of the world and himself, pursuing his passions, studying new things, making memories, he is instead restlessly appealing to strangers on the internet for his family's sake because their lives depend on it.
Read his story, pass it on, and if you have anything at all to spare, please don't hesitate for a moment.

In the heart of war-torn Gaza, where destruction and loss are a daily reality, lies the deeply moving tale of Dr. Husam Farhat and his family. Amidst the relentless bombardment, Dr. Farhat faced an unthinkable tragedy: the martyrdom of his beloved sisters, Inas and Amal, along with their husbands and children, and his brother Mustafa. This devastating loss shattered not only their dreams but also their hopes for a peaceful future.
Life Before the War: Memories of a Beautiful Home
Before the war, my life revolved around a beautiful home where I lived with my wife, our daughter Sham, and our sons Muhannad and Muhammad. This home was more than just a place to live; it was a sanctuary filled with love, warmth, and the joy of watching my children grow. Every corner of our home echoed with their laughter, turning it into a place where dreams for the future felt not only possible but inevitable, but then the war came, and in an instant, everything changed. The place where we once felt safe and secure was reduced to rubble. The life we had carefully built, the dreams we had nurtured, and the bright future we had planned were all torn apart. The war didn’t just destroy our home; it uprooted our entire existence, leaving us with nothing but the painful memories of what once was, Now, standing in the ruins of our former life, I'm left with fragments of a distant dream. The joy and security we once knew have been replaced by loss and uncertainty as we face a future overshadowed by harsh realities.
The Loss of My Professional Dream and Life After the War
And it wasn’t just my home that was destroyed. My accounting office, one of the most renowned in Palestine, was also reduced to rubble. I had worked tirelessly to build this office, which wasn't just a place of business but a reflection of my passion and dedication to the field of accounting. It was our primary source of income, providing financial stability and security for my family, My office was well-known for its exceptional services and strong reputation among clients. Over the years, it had become a symbol of success and hard work in the accounting world. But the war took it all away in an instant. Everything I had worked so hard to achieve was destroyed, and years of effort and dedication were wiped out in moments, Now, I stand on the ruins of my office, just as I stand on the ruins of my life, trying to piece together the remnants of my dreams and memories. This office was a source of pride for me and my family, but the war has left us with nothing, facing an uncertain and difficult future.
War's Toll on My Dreams and Future
The war didn’t just destroy my home and office; it shattered my dreams and future. As a PhD candidate in Accounting Information Systems at Universiti Utara Malaysia, I was in my final year, pursuing research that is a significant contribution to my field and valuable to entrepreneurs. With a master’s degree with distinction and a bachelor's degree, I also taught at several universities, sharing my knowledge and passion, But the war disrupted everything. Years of hard work, academic progress, and my contributions to the field have been torn apart, leaving me with an uncertain future. Now, I am faced with the daunting task of not only rebuilding my life but also reviving the dreams and ambitions that once drove me. The journey ahead is filled with challenges, but my resolve to continue remains strong.
Displacement and Uncertainty After the War
Now, after all this devastation, my family and I are living as displaced people, homeless and jobless, with no clear future for ourselves or our children. Every day is a struggle to find food for my children, who have been robbed of every chance at a normal life by this war. Once, we lived in Shuja'iyya, in North Gaza, where we had a home, a life, and dreams. But now, after being displaced over nine times, we find ourselves in the refugee camps of Nuseirat, the war has stripped us of everything—our home, our security, and our future. Our daily life has become a constant search for basic necessities, a far cry from the life we once knew. The dreams I had for my children and myself now feel like distant memories, overshadowed by the relentless challenges of survival. Each day brings new uncertainties, as we navigate this harsh new reality, clinging to the hope that one day we might rebuild what was lost.
Rebuild Hope: A Call to Stand with Us
We urgently call on all those who stand in solidarity with us, and every supporter, to help save what remains of our lives. Your assistance, even in small ways, can make a significant difference in helping us rebuild and restore our shattered world, rebuilding feels like an insurmountable task, but with your help, we can begin to piece together what was lost. Your contributions, no matter how small, can provide the foundation we need to start anew, offering hope and a chance at a better future for our family. Your solidarity means the world to us as we navigate these challenging times.

and I am one of the affected individuals with my … NAIM M M ROQA needs your support for Helping travel of my family’s
I will tell you the story of my life and my family before and after October 7th I was working as a physical education teacher in a school in the Gaza Strip I was teaching and educating the children of Gaza, and I had great love for these children because of what I was doing in terms of raising and educating the children. My daughters used to go to school to receive proper upbringing and education

and I am one of the affected individuals with my … NAIM M M ROQA needs your support for Helping travel of my family’s
But after October 7, I lost my job, my livelihood, and my work stopped due to the Israeli aggression My daughters lost their education in schools
I have a family consisting of 3 girls, in addition to my wife, A girlie Wafa is 10 years old Walaa is 8 years old Leanne is 6 years old As for my wife, her name is Maha, she is 31 years old We lived in a house filled with love, reassurance, and happiness Until our lives turned into hell after the events of October 7th
We were forced to leave our home and move from our home from Gaza City to the city of Khan Yunis. The displacement was repeated and we were displaced to the city of Rafah. We returned and were displaced to the city of Khan Yunis because of this devastating war. During displacement, my daughters were exposed to skin diseases and epidemics due to malnutrition Lack of a healthy and sound environment We suffered from a lack of medicine and an increase in the price of this medicine if it was available in one of the pharmacies, in addition to the lack of hospitals and the lack of health care.
My name is Naim Roqa
and I am one of the affected individuals with my … NAIM M M ROQA needs your support for Helping travel of my family’s
Now my family and I live inside a small tent made of straw and wood We suffer from the cold of winter and the heat of summer in this dilapidated tent We lost our home and it was bombed and destroyed by the Israeli army We lost what was inside of my daughters’ toys, clothes, and beautiful memories Our lives have become difficult, and from here began the story of torment and suffering in order to provide food, drink, clothing, and the simplest daily necessities and duties necessary for a simple life.
My daughters and I now stand on the food sheds in order to get food and bread We are suffering from the provision of pure drinking water The lives of my daughters and my entire family have become destroyed and disastrous The most difficult thing we face during this period is the lack of money to buy food and clothes
My name is Naim Roqa
and I am one of the affected individuals with my … NAIM M M ROQA needs your support for Helping travel of my family’s
Therefore, I am begging you and asking you to help me with money, with my daughters and my wife, to go out and travel outside the Gaza Strip and provide the most basic necessities of human life, such as food, bread and water. To live in security and stability The cost of travel for one person from the Gaza Strip is 5,000 US dollars per person I want you to help me by donating money and extending a helping hand to my family to travel and live a life of stability and safety.

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you with hearts full of hope and hope for your generous support. Due to the difficult circumstances and war we are going through, staying in our homeland has become impossible and dangerous for our lives.
We have lost our homes and loved ones, and we face constant threats to our daily lives. My family and I are in dire need of escaping this war and we are asking for your help in securing travel and asylum to a safe country where we can rebuild our lives.
The cost of travel per person is estimated at approximately $7,000. Any financial support you can provide will go a long way in saving our lives and providing a secure future for our children. You can donate via [fundraising link], or by contacting me directly for more details on how you can help.
We are very grateful for any support you can give us, whether it is financial or by sharing our story with friends and family. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for all your support and well wishes.
With sincere thanks and appreciation,.

What were you doing with your life when you were 19? Maybe you were in college, or you were working full time? Maybe you both studied and worked, or maybe you were an intern somewhere. Or maybe you were just figuring out what you wanted from life!
Mounir Alanqar @amany-sham10 is 19, but he isn't able to do any of these things. Instead, he is recovering from surgery, while suffering from hunger and frigid winter weather. He and his family have been stuck in Ghazzah for over a year, struggling with hunger, exposure, pain, trauma, and fear. Now, they are suffering from the cold of winter in a tent, and struggle to get the food and water they need to survive.
So far, Mounir and his family have only managed to raise €3,479 (just 10% of their goal) despite having been raising funds since August! Donations have slowed down recently, and sometimes Mounir and his family will go for days without a single donation! They can't afford for this to continue. They urgently need support to purchase the food, clothing, and blankets needed to survive this winter.
Mounir and his family deserve to live. I implore you, whatever you can do to support them, please do so! Share and donate, anything you can give helps!

I’m not even exaggerating I literally think about the anonymous person who donated €1,000 to Nader’s campaign every single day. i’ll be at work making a cocktail and suddenly remember the person who donated €1,000 to his campaign to save his family. idk who you are but I love you thank you

Hello my friends, I am Yara from Gaza. My family consists of 8 members (my parents, five girls and one boy) 🇵🇸😔
Because of the war on Gaza, my family and I lost our home and were forced to flee from the north of the Strip to the south in fear and terror 😭💔
My family and I were left without shelter after that. We sat in a cloth tent that did not protect us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter 😔💔
Because of the harsh winter and heavy rain, the worn-out fabrics of our tent could not protect us, so the tent fell on our children’s heads while they were sleeping. It was a very harsh and difficult night 🥺💔🇵🇸
All this is not enough. We are now living in famine. We cannot find any food. My father stopped working since the beginning of the aggression. We have no source of income. Prices are very high. We are experiencing continuous inflation 😭💔🙏🇵🇸
But my brother is very sick and we cannot provide him with food or medicine. For more than four months, my brother has not been able to get diapers. He keeps them with strips of cloth, as if we were living the life of the ancients 😭🙏💔🇵🇸
Because of this war:ـ
1. We have no shelter 💔🇵🇸
2.We were hungry, thirsty, homeless, scared, terrified and destroyed. 💔🇵🇸
3.Our dreams were destroyed .💔🇵🇸
4. We tasted all kinds of torture and felt the meaning of genocide .💔🇵🇸
5. We have no source of income left. 💔🇵🇸
6. We lived in tents that did not protect us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter 💔🇵🇸
Please donate to save my life and my family's life 😭🙏
Your donation can save a life 😭😔🇵🇸💔🙏

I can't lie, I find it very odd that posts cautioning people against donating to individual* campaigns and promoting the idea of supporting mutual aid efforts and community kitchens in Gaza can rack up 10k+ notes--while a post promoting a community kitchen (that I can personally vouch for) struggles to get 1k notes, and has barely pulled in a couple hundred dollars over the past week.
I actively try to avoid using guilting tactics in fundraising, but this is weird to me. It's like people are using these posts as an excuse not to do things they already didn't want to do anyway, rather than actually taking their recommendations on board...
*In my experience, these campaigns often support large extended families + their neighbours
This campaign is a mutual aid initiative involving myself, my friends Mohammad Abu-Alwan and his two brothers in Palestine, and Shakhya Scri

I finished my Masters in Library and Informational Science! People asked me what I wanted as a graduation gift and I said that all I want is for you to help out @abo-ataa to support his family this winter by donating to his paypal below.
Please consider donating to my friend Hussam, he has been displaced from his home in Rafah, and has to take care of his children in this freezing cold weather without even a proper tent! A few dollars will go a long way, no matter how small! Consider it a graduation gift for me if you appreciated any of my posts on tumblr!
Help Rhmah Hijazi reach their goal by donating or sharing with your friends.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your incredible support during this challenging time. Congratulations on completing your Masters in Library and Information Science! Your dedication to helping my family and me means the world to us. Your kindness and selflessness inspire me, and I truly appreciate everything you’ve done.
Thank you so much, you have no idea how much this means to me. Please, everyone, help out hussam if you can, he has such a big heart and always has put others before him. Let's see if we can get him to $2000!!
