I wish I can just talk about things with someone. like sometimes I just want to say i’m depressed and lost and want to stop existing. but I don’t want them to worry about me or be sad about my feelings. I don’t want them to think “oh no idk how to comfort you” or “not this again.” I don’t want to be a burden or “toxic person”. i just want them to understand and then we can go watch the sunset and drink hot chocolate or something.

Public parks, libraries, and venues are one of the only things that I support entirely on philosophical principle. I’m sure that there’s plenty of research suggesting a data-based political or economic case to be made for them, but I don’t care about it. I just think that it’s very important for any healthy society to have easily accessible places without cost or entry requirements where people can come to relax, learn, experience new things, and be surrounded by a diverse group of people that they haven’t met yet. I strongly believe that that’s just a good thing to have for public life and civic culture.

i love when people ask me “what are you anxious about” like…….about??? you think this is based on reason? rationality? never heard of that

also applies to “what are you depressed about” like binch????????? everything???? Nothing???? Who knows????? Never had a rational thought in my life

Wow it’s almost like the problem is our entire commercial fast fashion industry and not Marie Kondo.

Okay so I looked up the article and apparently the problem here is that they  can’t sell most of the stuff they get (and thus they send it to the dump) and I’m like… why not just give it to poor people for free then. I doubt a homeless person is gonna care if their extra layer has a button or is in style or not. Or turn them into scrap to sell at a fabric store, or something. There are so many other solutions… this isn’t a problem with Marie Kondo and the people making donations, there’s one with charities being capitalistic first and wanting to help second.
