OH GOSH I always forget about this post until I see it but itβs so great XD
Exercising based on the song that playing is something I would recommended to everyone with ADHD. I don't like exercising, so I use music to motivate me and depending on the song that's playing I try (keyword try) to match the beat of the song to my pace. So if a really fast song comes up, I exercise really hard for like 4 minutes and I enjoy the music so much I don't even notice. Then I use slower songs to rest. My gym playlist is a healthy mix of upbeat fast paced songs that you'd expect in a gym playlist and some calmer songs that help me to not overwork myself.
