Completely true. Ultimately the core problem I think is that social media and the way humans interact on the internet creates massive pressure explicitly against critical thinking and acknowledging the existence of nuance.

Instead of True Crime, there should be a genre called True Law. everyone researches heinous acts of cruelty that were entirely, perfectly legal & sanctioned by the governments of their countries.
