Will you yield... in time?

The "nothing happened to me. I happened to me" is the most tragic line in the series. True, when Harris wrote Hannibal may not have known the past he would have given him (in the future), but when it's used by Fuller, knowing full well he's going to explore Hannibal's past close to canon, it says alot about his Hannibal's way of thinking of himself, his refusal to become a victim, and his trauma.

The other day (as I did the short character study after the fall) I was thinking what longer Hannibal story could I write and the only thing that came to mind was amnesiac Hannibal - nature vs nurture- and now I'm researching all the psychology papers written about a fictional character that I can find for free as research for a story I may never write.
