Kittens can’t regulate their own body temperature. That’s why they pile up.

Cats see us as colony members.

Masha saw a kitten that was on its own, no mommy, no other kittens to cuddle with. She instinctively knew that was a cold kitten. She knew that a kitten alone on a cold night was very likely to die. Because a kitten would have died too.

So, all she was doing was what any good colony member does - protecting the abandoned kitten. Then when the abandoned kitten’s mommy didn’t come back, she called the rest of the colony for help.

People have this bizarre idea that housecats don’t have a social sense. They do, and it saved this kid’s life. And possibly Masha’s too, as life on the streets is dangerous for a kitty.

@redrobin-detective it is in fact a really great subversion of the “teenage protagonist successfully has the Adult Institution scrambling and fumbling, due to his cunning teenage wiles.” Ed DOES fancy himself cunning, but he’s literally only getting away with this because Bradley Is Letting Him. For the first several seasons they’re just letting him.

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a commission of my favourite flower girl and I couldn’t be more happy with how this turned out, especially because I made it with you all on Tumblr! It was so fun to create this concept together with a bunch of other people who love Elain too!

I cannot thank @: lemntii enough for being such a pleasure to work with! It was a joy to work with Lem who is an amazing artist who brought this entire concept to life!

Mira makes a face, then turns to pull the other two into a small and quiet group huddle. She whispers, “The greasy-looking one hasn’t stopped crying since we caught them.”

Zoey cants her head to hear the knobby-kneed creature sniff back two nostrils of mucus. “Yeah, it’s actually kind of sad?”

Rumi sighs. “I know it’s weird, but — we don’t really know if they’re 100% evil demons or not, right? And if they’ve been down here starving along with Gwi-Ma, they must be hungry and desperate. It’s no wonder they went sniffing for anything they could find...”

Mira groans. “Yeah, but we can’t exactly just throw them back out in the wild like nothing happened. If my hunch is right and they can’t poof away like usual, then they’ll go running to rat us out the moment we cut the rope.”

Rumi considers the situation at length, then gently squeezes Zoey and Mira’s shoulders. “Jinu can’t fill in everything for us when he’s down in a dark pit. Let’s just… see what they know, and we’ll figure the rest out after.”

Zoey squints at Rumi. “Is this a good cop, bad cop situation?”

“… Should it be?”

“Enough!”

The familiar voice, usually silky smooth, is sharp and full of authority. Every demon that hasn’t been turned into ash on the wind stops where they stand. They all look up, expectant, panting, confused, and Rumi follows their gaze to the dark-dressed figure crouched on the sagging limb of a riverside tree: Romance Saja, with one hand steadied against bark and the other hanging too casually over his knee. He tilts his chin up, earrings dancing beside his sharp cheekbones, smiling at the hunters standing tall in the middle of the confused crowd. Abby Saja leans on the base of the tree with his arms folded over his firm chest. The hanbok he wears his just as raggedy as the one Rumi had seen Jinu in, time and time again.

As Baby wipes his bloodied hand on the dead demon’s back and rises up, Mystery moves to join him, modern jewelry in conflict with the antiquity of his robes.

The Saja Boys. Covered in Gwi-Ma’s barbed purple patterns, eyes glowing fiercely like a Golden Honmoon, skin the color of a frozen death — they’re nothing like the bubblegum pop pastels that once taunted them so openly.

“You idiots,” Romance says, voice lilting. “Are you really trying to kill our only hope of survival?”

ok so like. Hear me out. Tsuna gets stuck in an in-between of hyper dying will mode and normal tsuna and he has to just do shit like going to school like that.
