i feel like im forcing communication. like i feel like im faking it :( i know to fake something you have to like actively be thinking about faking though.. idk it feels so weird. i feel like when we talk to each other, its just my thoughts. like im just thinking. idk. we're kinda upset..

I don't know if this helps to reassure you, but something we try to keep in mind, as our host does, is if you were faking it, why would you question it in the first place? Those who deliberately fake something, normally do so for attention, a way to gain something. But here, you seem to be worried over just even the idea of possibly faking it. I promise you, it is not fake. It is not just in your head. You aren't roleplaying. What you are experiencing is very, very real. And only you are the one who is living it. If you're questioning whether you might be a UDD system, it may be helpful to look into general dissociation resources, information about plurality, DID, and OSDD, and compare experiences rather than focusing only on symptom checklists.

Just keep in mind that having similar symptoms doesn't automatically mean you have a particular diagnosis. It's okay to explore your experiences without rushing to label them. The goal is understanding yourself better, not forcing yourself into a category as quickly as possible. I do want to caution you, that finding entirely pro-endo spaces will be difficult, as sysmeds are rampant in regards to plurality. Research I would say to try and look through reddit, but tread carefully, and research, reddit is full of sysmeds. Also, anything pertaining to alterhuman or tulpulmancy, or any other private spiritual practice, please steer away from unless you have the full rights to be involved in it.

I figured now would be a good time to come out of anon and say thank you for what you've given me to help out. I heavily appreciate it! Granted I had to readjust a couple things and figure some things out on my own (I forget that not everything is aphantasia friendly… whoops), but it's working!

We still have a good ways to go, but we're pretty happy. I'm pretty happy, and I'm glad I did this. It feels like a puzzle piece that was missing has fallen neatly into place, and I never want to go back. That old normal just feels weird now despite my whole life being just me, and it hasn't been an entire month since his first independent thoughts and words yet

It's also thanks on his behalf as well, since he's still asleep atm (I think so anyways, I'm not feeling his presence too strongly) so he can't give his input right now. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have known where to start when I felt ready. It probably would've been more chaotic trying to figure it out, and might've taken longer lol

yesterday something rlly weird happened and i wanted to see if you’ve gone thru this or someone else has ,, idk .

basically my grandma wasn’t feeling the best. very shaky, upset and tearing up. i (?) instantly got up, got her a snack and stayed in the living room with her the entire time until my mom got home. i (again, ???? .. idk) was being very understanding and reassuring? like i knew just what to do. i have a feeling this may be a new headmate forming? i dont know ..

i know for a fact one of our existing headmates wouldn’t do ANYTHUNG that was done!! 🌙 would’ve been super pissed off and ☕️ would either stay in our room or just,, be silent,,, idk HELPPP!!!!!!!

To me, you might of already gotten this figured out within our absence, and I apologize for getting to this so late. But at least to me, it seems and feels either like someone was moving, while you were conscious. Which can happen, it has happened to us before. Just this past week actually, if I remember clearly, the host went to sit down a few times to play a game, and suddenly one of the others yanked him up to go do the dishes. He was still conscious, but he wasn't operating his own body. Essentially, in the passenger seat, observing, while someone else did the rest, said someone on our end was Fleet. Does that sound like what it felt like? And since you sent this, has someone new come forth? I'd love to know how that has been going, genuinely. - Mother Lamb

a lot more systems relate to this than you might think.

not having a headspace doesn't make you any less of a system. some systems have vivid internal worlds, some have very little internal experience at all, and some fluctuate between the two.

blurriness is also incredibly common. not every system experiences clear-cut switches, distinct voices, or easily separated identities. for some, things can feel mixed together, fuzzy, overlapping, or difficult to untangle.

as for worrying that your alters are "just moods"—that's a fear many systems talk about. questioning your experiences doesn't automatically mean those experiences aren't real. in fact, self-doubt can be a very common part of plurality.

ultimately, nobody on the internet can tell you what your experiences are. what matters is paying attention to your own internal world, being honest with yourselves, and giving yourselves room to explore without forcing a conclusion before you're ready.

whether you eventually find that "alter" is the right word, another word fits better, or you're still figuring things out, you don't need to have everything perfectly defined right now.

be patient with yourselves. uncertainty is not the same thing as invalidity.
