So I’m really nervous about posting this because I don’t EVER sing outside of my bedroom (or bathroom in this case, gotta enhance those acoustics 😂) but with it being less than a week until I see Taylor (STAY CALM SOPH!!!!!) I was feeling super nostalgic and decided to play Change.

These lyrics have never felt so real or relevant, because we believe in everything Taylor does and we’ve seen it through with her, and that’s why “the time will come for us to finally win.” Like Taylor really did WIN because she’s doing better than she ever was, therefore we win because Taylor is happy and living her best life ❤️ So I felt like this lyric really represents what this reputation era is about :-)

So if any of you guys remember, last month I posted a cover of Change. I was so overwhelmed with everyone’s kind words and still can’t believe it has over 1,000 notes! You’re all so wonderful!! I didn’t really plan on uploading any more covers because I’m still like meh about my voice, I just sing and play for fun- not necessarily to sound good!! But I wanted to share another special video with you!

So I filmed this cover of Long Live a few days after I met Taylor on the 9th of June at the rep Tour Manchester. This song has always meant SO much to me because it’s for US- the fans. When I first practised this cover, it was my first time listening to Long Live since meeting Taylor and that’s when everything truly hit me… That I REALLY met the person I’ve looked up to for 10 years. I ugly cried and had to stop singing. The lyrics hit home more than ever, and now I have pictures not just of Taylor but a picture WITH Taylor, so when they point to the pictures, I really can tell them her name ❤️

Hey Taylor!! My mom and I are so ready to see you in Detroit in ONE WEEK!! My mom took me to my very first concert, your Fearless tour, so we decided to squeeze back into the shirts we bought that day! We tried to get a cute picture with Oscar, but he wasn’t having it…I’m sure you can relate! WE ARE SO EXCITED AND LOVE YOU TO THE MOON AND BACK💓

Just wanted to let you know I’ll be going to your Detroit show!! I had the MOST AMAZING time at the Cleveland show and I cannot wait to experience it again. I’d love so much to give you a hug, tell you how important you’ve become in my life, especially being alone in Dallas for the past couple months, and give you the biggest hug on behalf of myself and everyone whose lives you’ve touched. Look for me in this super delicate jacket on the floor in section K ROW FIVE SEATS 17 & 18!!!!!! ;)

Taylor, I could write pages on pages of my story for you and everything you’ve helped me through these past 11 years. But the short version is that I’m so incredibly happy I got to grow up with you. I’m so thankful I’ve had you by my side since I was 10 and now that I’m almost 22 (!!), you’ve never left. Thank you for being my inspiration, my role model, and my best friend when I didn’t have one. There’s so much I want to tell you and hope I get the opportunity to one day. From moving across the country to letting go of toxic friendships to graduating from college to now working in downtown LA as an engineer, you’ve helped me through so much.

I’m going to my 3rd rep show in Nashville (my 8th concert of yours!!) on August 25th. My sister lives there now so I’ll get to bring her with me and I’m SO excited to go back to that magical city and see you perform again. I know it’s a long shot, but after so many years I would die for a hug and a quick moment to tell you how much I love you and everything you’ve done for me. No matter what, I’m so excited to see your incredible show again. I’ll stand by you forever. 💖
