I am the tumor you wanted to save, you are the light I dimmed

We carried each other

But you were the impetus & the strength

FORGIVE ME!

And tattered hope that a glance

From a paramore treasures deeper truths

Coupled with insights into that tendential

Opaque soul, that became as xenos to me

As her death dry lips when scouring my flesh

Void of love & warmth as excess lust is

Now my breath comes in clogged wheezes

As my body limps after my soul

Whose essence is now as the stale wind

From a sudden opened tomb

I now spy the Reaper as he growles my name

And invokes that eldritch law

Though a twin to time itself, the Reaper errs

For what he had uttered was a misnomer

Prompting a echo of a fate far bleaker

To be everbroken on the wheel of the lost & the scared

Not here, nor there

Ever juxtaposed 'tween that accursed first meeting of our eyes

And that last kiss utterly empty of feeling

No battles won in bed.
