I usually don’t care about celebrity deaths, but Daveigh Chase passed away and it me really hard. Idk if any one else has been processing this. It’s weird because we don’t know these people. But she was only 35, just about to turn 36. I feel sad and angry, but don’t want to comment further because it’ll lead to vile discussions about the industry she worked in and assumptions rather than facts. I hope she’s resting in peace and thank her for all the joy she brought the world 🩷💔💜
This news is so disappointing and disheartening to me. Amazon has no problem releasing slop like Melania and one million rando Chris Pratt movies.
But they drop a movie from an acclaimed director with an amazing cast because it paints Trump sycophants like Sam Altman and Elon Musk in a bad light.

I hope they find another studio soon and achieve great success.
I didn’t have an interest in this movie, but I agree that the studio dropping it is wrong. It clearly only happened because of the connections with Bezos and that’s gross to me. 🦎
Speaking of movies, do you have a favorite director?
For me it’s Steven Spielberg. He’s made a bunch of movies that I genuinely just enjoy 🦎
Ariel, have you seen Oppenheimer? Seriously, Nolan's films make me sleepy.
I know this is for Ariel, so I hope you don’t mind me popping in and stealing it 😬
I really enjoy both The Dark Knight and Interstellar. Past that, I think he’s a bit overrated 🦎

Dune is one of those movies that doesn’t explain itself on the way through. They rely on the audience to know the story and lore. Not really but you know what I mean. Hardly any backstory to set up the plot. It’s like you watch movie one and it’s as if you’ve stepped into movie five? It’s annoying. There are a few movie series like that. It’s usually part of some comic/book fandom. Anyway that’s my take.
I’ve never read or watched anything of Dune other than the Timothee Chalamet movie. I tried watching it with my husband and the entire way through I was like “what is even going on?!” I was lost through too much of the first half and then by time the second half of the movie rolled around I pretty much stopped paying attention because I didn’t care after being confused for so long 😬 I don’t have plans to watch the sequels or show spin offs at the moment 🦎
That second Avatar film put me into one of the deepest sleeps of my life. You are not alone.
Oh thank god. I thought I was the only one! My friend tried to trick me into watching the first movie after she knew I wasn’t into it. The dvd player closed, I blinked and I woke up the next day 😂 Hands down, best sleep of my life.
I honestly don’t love the Avatar movies either 😬🦎
Happy first fathers day to Chris Evans and happy father's day to Bob
baby boi 💚
Anon - We’re not giving them the attention they’re desperately after. Let them scream into the void. The only people that believe their weird BS is themselves. 🧜🏻♀️

Anon - I know you mean well, but we literally could not care less. LMAO It's just another day that ends in Y. // What did I miss? Is the breakup article dropping today? 😆😂💀
Nope, just dumb drama that we want no part of. 🧜♀️

Same goes for Avatar *prepares to be flamed* 🧜♀️/

The most ironic thing is, the Pandora land in Animal Kingdom is STUNNING. So well themed. Flight of Passage is one of the best rides in the whole of WDW. But I've never seen a single movie. LOL 🧜♀️
Ariel, have you ever watched any of the Dune movies? Did you like it?
See, those movies have never really appealed to me. Do they look visually stunning? Sure. But I don't have an interest in the story. Same goes for Avatar *prepares to be flamed* 🧜♀️
What is your go to comfort movie?
I have three: Jurassic Park, The Mummy, and Twister lol 🧜♀️

Do you only watch big studio blockbusters?
Is it a problem if I do? Going to the movies is expensive and I go see the ones that have a high chance of being enjoyable for me. 🧜♀️
Girls, Ariel and Pascal, of the movies that came out this year, did you like any? I confess I loved Obsession and didn't like Blackrooms.
I haven't seen those, because horror isn't really my thing, but I did see Project Hail Mary, The Devil Wears Prada 2, Mandalorian and Grogu, and most recently, Disclosure Day. I enjoyed them all for different reasons. But I'm also relatively easy to please when it comes to movies. If I'm entertained for 2+ hours, then that's a win for me. That being said, Project Hail Mary is my favorite this year so far.
Coming up, we've got Toy Story 5, Supergirl, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, The Odyssey, and Avengers: Doomsday. It's a pretty damn good year for movies IMO. 🧜♀️
