Since some people are hard of hearing, here’s an even better clip. 🧜🏻♀️
You know what’s *hilarious*? It’s that not only are Captregina and Co losing their shit over Chris mentioning his daughter, but on top of that you’re the blog who posted the proof😂😂 The same blog who always had all the proofs and receipts and exclusives news about Chris. Oh it must be killing them😂 Captregina is up posting at 3 in the morning. That’s how pressed she is hahaha
I (thankfully) have never experience this issue, so I can't say for sure. But I would *hope* they'd have a little grace. Any anons experience this? Were you refunded if you couldn't get what you paid for due to poor organization at the event? 🧜♀️//
It depends on the company organizing it. The last one I went to in Orlando bloom wasn't having a good day, so after 30/40 autographs he left and said he wouldn't do any more (some people were taking advantage and bringing too many things for him to sign).
The organization explained that they don't guarantee autographs and that by purchasing the service, you agree that the celebrity can cancel at any time, whether it's for photos or autographs. In short, we didn't get a refund.
That sucks. You'd think they would look at it as not providing a service that was paid for. I guess people could do chargebacks on their cards. Either way, that's a shitty situation.
Also, as someone that attends a couple cons a year, they really need to do something about the people that bring WAGONS of stuff for the celebs to sign. And I do mean literal wagons. It's obscene, because you just know they're resellers. Like, okay, yes, they paid the same amount as everyone else, but they're also causing backups and causing people to stand in line for hours. There needs to be a set limit - something like, you can have 10 (or 5 or whatever arbitrary number) items signed in one go, then you need to get back in line and let other people have their turn. 🧜♀️

One question: when people don't get a photo or autograph due to an error by the organizers, are they reimbursed or do they lose their money?

In case anyone is wondering why we didn't just share who sent us the video from FanExpo *gestures around at everything*
Knowing what we know about certain people in this fandom, the source would have been relentlessly harassed and called all sorts of horrible names. We are not subjecting perfectly kind people to that brand of crazy.
The PR side are claiming the video is not real after demanding all weekend of video proof. People just posting don’t cut it. I saw some comments on SM where people have said the congratulated him and he smile and said thank you. People who did seem to have any hidden agendas just genuinely happy to see him. One said their sister congratulated him because she has child the same age. Why would these normal people lie. Another blog had an anon who was there say he said it but now the haters are saying they have anons who said he never did.
Unfortunately there are so many people who troll and lie in the fandom now but what’s the point of making a fake video and doing it so fast after the event. I just wish we saw the whole bit of what he said about returning to stage. Every video I saw just seen focused on his Marvel return. I hope FanExpo upload the whole panel on their YouTube channel.
Are we even surprised they’re making excuses at this point? But uploading the whole panel would be great for everyone who wants to see it! 😊🦎
Reminds me of the Cumberbatch septics "tree of proofiness".
Basically, they put up a list of all it would take for them to take a sighting, picture, and quote seriously. Needless to say, that list grew longer as soon as all criteria were met. Which was basically every time.
You bitches are so pressed.
Who’s pressed? I’m watching a huge storm roll in, eating some left over birthday cake, and listening to a slutty little audiobook. Life is good! 🦎

Thank anon and the reason it appears slightly out of sync is because it’s on a projector screen not him live on stage it you know what I mean.

Here’s a longer video of Chris discussing stage work and mentioning his daughter for fuller context. Thank you to our anon for sending it in!

Of course they have so many anons
Well. We have video evidence of what he said. So sorry to them about their delusions 😂🦎

Now, you might say “but Pascal he didn’t HAVE to do the comic con this weekend if he didn’t WANT to. No one FORCED him!” And to that, I would say you’re absolutely correct. But I’d also ask you if you think him skipping fan events is fair to the fans that do show up for him and genuinely like his work and are excited to meet him? I think that’s why he still shows up. 🦎 /
Wanted to tune in, because I appreciate your perspective. Maybe. None of us will know. I remember Chris said he was apprehensive about taking the role of Cap because of how much his life would change. I personally don’t believe he’s doing the convention for the fans, but rather for the money. He also made a comment saying he wishes he had RDJ’s money. I’m sure it’s an easy paycheck for him.
I appreciate your empathetic response. But with how hard things are for us normies, it’s just challenging (for me personally) to sympathize with someone in Chris’s shoes. I do understand it’s got to be difficult dealing with bats*it crazies. And maybe I don’t know how bad it is because 1) I’m not him and 2) I don’t pay close enough attention.
But I have to show up to my job that doesn’t pay the bills where I absolutely hate everyday. I don’t fit in there I got transferred when due to a disability… so they just decided it’d be fun to bully me. It’s a service job. So, I have to go above and beyond to with a great big smile on my face, while being mistreated behind the scenes. Plus, I have to deal with disgruntled people everyday and just take it. The job doesn’t support me, but can’t find anything else in this job market after looking for 9 months. Maybe it’s not the best comparison, but I’d much rather be in his shoes. I hope that makes sense.
Believe me anon, I totally get it. While I understand that part of being a celeb comes with a loss of privacy to certain degrees, the amount of money they’re paid is bonkers. The amount of money Chris made for the con alone would be life changing money for me 🦎
I have a friend who took a picture with him on Saturday; she said he was kind, but the person organizing the line kept telling people to hurry up.
She also bought his autograph, but ended up not being able to get it due to an organizational problem at the event.
She said that when she went to meet him for the photo, she congratulated him on his daughter, and he was extremely kind and thanked her.
Her only complaint was regarding the organization of the place.
Yeah organization can sometimes get kind of out of hand when you have high caliber celebs. 🧜🏻♀️

About Fanexpo
Is it just me or does Chris kinda look sad or I don’t know like he doesn’t want to be there?
Not one smile looks genuine and where he shows some teeth 😔
See below!
Sorry to change the subject, but I’m confused by all these photos. Why the choice to not smile? Maybe I’m too sensitive? But if I paid all that money for a photo with Chris & he looked (in my opinion) like he was just going through the motions… I’d be pissed. I remember doing a M&G with my favorite band at the time, only one of them smiled for the photo & I was heartbroken. I’m sure it’s not fun to meet fans and take photos, but as a former WDW CM who did it for $6.75 an hour in the humidity for an entire shift 5 days a week… sometimes working doubles… I have no sympathy. Let me know if I’m being too critical and the pics are fine.
I’m going to say both yes and no because I don’t want to invalidate the way anyone feels.
I will say that I personally think Chris looked consistently content in all photos. They’re nice photos. Big huge smiles with teeth? No. But I don’t think he looks like he’s phoning it in either. His expression has been consistent all weekend which is key. He isn’t big smiles for some and not for others. In fandom spaces like tumblr, we do sometimes live in a vacuum. We’ve curated our follows. We see a lot of content from people who agree with our own opinion on things because it’s so easy to hit the block button, you know? We see people complaining he doesn’t have the biggest smile. But when I head over to platforms like Instagram or TikTok, there are plenty of people talking about how wonderful their experience was meeting Chris and how nice he was. Sometimes we have to step out of our own fandom vacuums to get the bigger picture. If the people who spent their money to meet him are happy, what does it matter how we, the people sitting at home, feel? Those who attended seem happy and I think that’s what really matters here. Their paid experience certainly trumps our feelings from home.
I do personally have to question how truly comfortable Chris was this weekend, though. And not because of his facial expressions. There are plenty of “fans” who get on this app (and others!) and trash him relentlessly. They trash his friends, family, and now wife and baby. They send non stop hate to these people through social media (and I don’t buy that it doesn’t have a negative effect on their personal lives). We know it does. Scott has said as much in interviews and podcasts before. And you know what some of those people did? The ones that attack him and his loved ones online? The ones we call delulu because of the way they behave online? They paid money to show up to the con to take photos with him. They spent money on flights, hotels, food, photo ops, and autographs to act like a friendly fan to his face while their online anonymous life is nothing but harassing him and the people around him. I don’t want to be rude when I say this, but that’s absolutely psychotic behavior. Now imagine you’re Chris taking photos with the people who’ve paid to show up this weekend and you don’t know if the person walking up to you is a genuine fan or one of the chronically online lowlifes that spends all of their free time trying to make your personal life absolute hell all because you had the audacity to get married and have a baby. You know these people are in the crowd. But you don’t know which ones they are. You don’t know if the person coming up to you is going to be pleasant or say or do something completely off the wall. Would that leave you feeling unsettled? Because it would absolutely unsettle me and I’m not above saying so.
