I think it's unlikely the parents will show Alma in public; I think they'll do the same as Scarlett Johansson with her children, maintaining the child's privacy.
I agree. I don't think they'll ever be seen with her in public. At least nowhere where paps could potentially be. But talk about her? Yeah probably. But like I mentioned earlier, it'll absolutely be vague. 🧜♀️
Ariel, my favorite mermaid, I miss you. How are you?
Do you think there's a chance Chris will say something about baby Alma or fatherhood?
Maybe, eventually. But I think he will keep it vague. 🧜♀️
Hi ladies! I’m glad you’re all taking some more time for yourselves (especially with absolutely nothing going on). I was just randomly thinking how I miss the old days. With the four of you and a calmer fandom. I understand why Chris is off SM & I’m glad he’s enjoying his privacy. I also quit SM & it’s really interesting how people stop giving a sh*t about you besides your real friends when you’re not posting 24/7. We live in such a weird world. But I mean I guess it makes sense. We’re all busy dealing with so much these days, it’s hard to check in on others. However, I feel like people have changed & become less of a community & more focused on the self. Imma do me. It’s hurting us collectively.
On another note. I’m not excited for Doomsday (sorry). But I’m looking forward to his other new projects. It will be fun to have content. Hopefully the fandom has calmed down by then/or most of the toxic ones have left. Hopefully the break from the public has been healthy for him. It will be interesting to see him when he comes back & see him in the press. I liked the (little bit) of materialist interviews we got. Was surprised we didn’t get more with him & Pedro, but he might’ve been busy with F4.
Ooof I agree with your first paragraph so much. I haven’t left social media, but I use it significantly less than I used to. I prefer to live in the moment these days and enjoy the world around me. The sad part is I hear from a lot less people, but it’s also helped me sort out who my real friends are because of that.
I do miss the fun shenanigans that would go on around here due to Chris and social media movement back in the day. What’s sad is I literally just got done telling Ariel yesterday how one of Chris’s friends threw a big party for a specific reason that I don’t doubt he was at, but if he was, he avoided group photos. It made me nostalgic because I miss when he’d pop up in his friend’s pictures like that.
I will be curious to see what Chris says in press interviews about his life these days (if he does) because we don’t get to see much anymore between him leaving and his friends and family locking it down even more. I’m not too stoked for Doomsday either if I’m completely honest. I won’t write it off entirely until I see it, but I do have Marvel fatigue these days. I used to see every Marvel movie as soon as I could, and now I just get to the movies and shows when I do. I don’t love the idea of RDJ coming back as Doom and was a bit annoyed when it was announced, but like I said, I won’t fully write it off until I see the finished product. I’m just not rushing to see the movie at the same time if that makes any sense? I’m to a point where I just have franchise/sequel/prequel/remake fatigue at this point and I crave original stories more than anything 🦎

Speaking of movies have any of you ladies ever acted or wanted to?
When I was a reeeally little kid I did but that’s about it. I’ve participated in musicals in a major U.S. city, but not in the role of an actor 🦎
Do you have a favorite comedy movie? I confess I love Little Man, norbit, big momma's house and White Chicks.
I really like Anchorman, Talladega Nights, and Bridesmaids 🦎
Oh gosh, you are too nice! I’m both curious and scared of what I might have said 😬😂 I don’t feel like I’d be the best person to host therapy sessions, I’m wildly under qualified and it would probably best to seek a professional if someone is truly struggling deeply with something, but I’m always willing to give my honest opinion when people ask for advice 🩷🦎//
It was in a quote about Chris and Jenny, you said: "When you're with the wrong person, everything they do feels like an attack and something wrong to you."
This stayed in my head for a while and it served/serves to influence my current relationship. We've been together for 6 years and we're definitely the wrong person for each other, but I still haven't had the courage to let go of it. He once told me, "Without me, you'll never be happy," and I'm afraid deep down he might be right.
Sending you hugs, anon! It can be a really tough thing to decide if you’re in the right relationship or not. I went through a little bit of that myself at one point in a long term relationship. I have to say though, I really don’t like that he said you’d never be happy. That feels icky and controlling, but I don’t know him like you do to accurately judge his character. It can be really hard to judge if better might be out there, or if you’re just struggling with the monotony that contentment can sometimes bring.
In these situations, I’ve found it best to try to imagine future scenarios and how your current partner would act in them. What feels true to their character? For example, how would they support you through childbirth and what influence would they have on raising kids (if that’s what you want). How would they respond to you being sick or needing a surgery where you’ll need help with caring for yourself? How might they support you through losing a parent or watching them go through a major medical event? What would their response be if you suddenly lost your job? How would they respond in an emergency situation like picking up the pieces of your home after a flood, fire, tornado/hurricane, etc? Sorting through real scenarios like that helped me decide whether I wanted to stick it out with that person or not. 🦎
Pascal, have you ever thought about doing a therapy session with your followers? I miss your advice. (Last year you said something that really stuck with me.)

I didn’t have an interest in this movie, but I agree that the studio dropping it is wrong. It clearly only happened because of the connections with Bezos and that’s gross to me. 🦎 /
I've read a version of the script and it's actually really fun in parts and haunting too. And it's not a Sam Altman biopic at all, like some people are claiming. He isn't even the lead of the film. Elon Musk is made to look like a proper buffoon (Ike Barinholtz is playing him lol) and Sam Altman is an evil manipulator and Iiar. Both are support roles.
I hope people give this a chance and most importantly, that we get to see it and it isn't buried.
That I definitely agree with! I hope another studio is daring enough to pick it up and isn’t scared off by the billionaires trying to control the world right now 🦎

It's definitely subjective, but he's right up there for me. He's quite pleasing for the eyes 🧜♀️//
David Corenswet, Robert Pattinson, and Henry Cavill—I think they're the most handsome men today. If I were a teenager, I would include Liam Hemsworth on that list.
There's also John Hamm; I don't think he's handsome, but he has sex appeal, something that makes him extremely interesting.
I’m stuck on the Belmont Cameli train. Like dear lord someone help me 🥵😍🦎

Can we consider him the most handsome man in Hollywood right now? He's a real feast for the eyes.

I usually don’t care about celebrity deaths, but Daveigh Chase passed away and it me really hard. Idk if any one else has been processing this. It’s weird because we don’t know these people. But she was only 35, just about to turn 36. I feel sad and angry, but don’t want to comment further because it’ll lead to vile discussions about the industry she worked in and assumptions rather than facts. I hope she’s resting in peace and thank her for all the joy she brought the world 🩷💔💜
This news is so disappointing and disheartening to me. Amazon has no problem releasing slop like Melania and one million rando Chris Pratt movies.
But they drop a movie from an acclaimed director with an amazing cast because it paints Trump sycophants like Sam Altman and Elon Musk in a bad light.

I hope they find another studio soon and achieve great success.

Speaking of movies, do you have a favorite director?
For me it’s Steven Spielberg. He’s made a bunch of movies that I genuinely just enjoy 🦎

Ariel, have you seen Oppenheimer? Seriously, Nolan's films make me sleepy.
I know this is for Ariel, so I hope you don’t mind me popping in and stealing it 😬
I really enjoy both The Dark Knight and Interstellar. Past that, I think he’s a bit overrated 🦎
Dune is one of those movies that doesn’t explain itself on the way through. They rely on the audience to know the story and lore. Not really but you know what I mean. Hardly any backstory to set up the plot. It’s like you watch movie one and it’s as if you’ve stepped into movie five? It’s annoying. There are a few movie series like that. It’s usually part of some comic/book fandom. Anyway that’s my take.
I’ve never read or watched anything of Dune other than the Timothee Chalamet movie. I tried watching it with my husband and the entire way through I was like “what is even going on?!” I was lost through too much of the first half and then by time the second half of the movie rolled around I pretty much stopped paying attention because I didn’t care after being confused for so long 😬 I don’t have plans to watch the sequels or show spin offs at the moment 🦎
