Atsushi, who came to deliver some things from Mori to Fukuzawa, and who left Kyouka behind for safety reasons, knocks on the Agency door very politely, waiting to be let in.
"Come in!" He heard from someone inside, so he opens the door and enters.
"Good morning! I came here to deliver some documents to the President. If I may hand these to someone to give them to him?" Atsushi announced swiftly, as not to cause problems and get this done quickly.
He heard footsteps towards him, and to his joyous surprise, it was none other than his dear partner friend Akutagawa. An instant and slightly instinctive smile spread across Atsushi's face, "Ryuunosuke! It's great to see you! Could you help me with these?"
The instant Akutagawa saw him, a gentle smile spread across his lips, and his eyes took a slight shine. "It's good to see you too Atsushi, may I see what you brought?"
Atsushi handed him the papers and Akutagawa looked through lightly, nodding. "Alright. I'll take these to the President. How have you been?"
"Oh I've been fine! Finally got Kyouka to settle down, she is a bit stressed but she's warming up nicely to the place. Way better than me. How's work been?" Atsushi asked, trying to hide and control the slight pink on his cheeks.
"Oh work's been just as usual. A lot of running around Yokohama and a ton of paperwork. Whenever I go to sleep each night I thank the God's the day's over and no more work!" Responded Akutagawa rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly while Atsushi let out a light laugh.
They both looked so smitten for eachother, awkward as hell and also very shy. Like extremely shy. Somehow they looked like teenagers in love, which they were, but that super cute type from TV shows and books. Seeming impossible for their circumstances and their history.
Ranpo and Yosano had an intense conversation about the two lover-boys, until Kunikida yelled at them to get back to work and let the gossip for later, only to be dragged in aswell. He gave in and talked to them for a couple minutes before Akutagawa came back, all smiley and happy, sitting down to finish his paperwork with no complaints. Just how tf does this all grumpy scary and aggressive guy, who only ever scowls and barks at people, be like that now comes in the "i guess we'll never know meme.
