I'm Clover Charlie, you can refer to me as Clover Charlie or CC. I'm a writer artist who is currently trying and failing to write a book series. Might post occasionally about it and the characters, but for the most part, this is a fandom blog.

I'm part of the BSD, CRK, Genshin Impact, MHA Fairy Tail, Demon Slayer, Life Series, Ever After High, PJO/HOO/TOA, Ninjago, HxH, KOTLC, Miraculous Ladybug, Fate, Gravity Falls, One Piece, & My Little Pony fandoms. Miraculous is more of a love/hate relationship nowadays but whatever. I do have ocs for all of these and might share them at some point.

My current fanfic wips that I'll talk about maybe sometime is my TachiAtsu Justice au(tagged: #tachiatsu justice), my Toxic Change BSD au(tagged: #cc's toxic change bsd au), my Apocalypse Dreams Genshin Impact au(tagged: #apocalypse dreams genshin impact au & #the archons have left us), my Crossover au(tagged: #cc's crossover verse), my CRK Therapy au(tagged: #crk therapy au), my LockedSwan EAH au(tagged: #eah locked secrets), and lastly my CRK Dark au(#clover's crk dark!au).

For my own stories not fanfiction, I have the tag ssc hw for an idea i refuse to let go of and the gryrilian records or gyr for my main series! I've only posted about the ssc hw haha... I also have a certain other original worlds but their stories will probably only be told on tumblr posts.(This is going to be the fate of ssc hw as well probably)

Loving all the people being like “ha, see! We told you Korra was bad and wrong and dumb and we were right! Vindication!” Which like, firstly, way to not recognise a fucking obvious misdirect when you see one. Secondly, even if Seven Havens did end up totally butchering Korra’s character by making her suddenly turn evil out of nowhere like you apparently want, that wouldn’t make you right, it would make the show bad.

before I was diagnosed with “gender dysphoria” and “transsexualism” I got a hysterectomy. this was not easy— medical misogyny exists and I had to assert repeatedly that i didn’t want children and I was married with a spouse who didn’t want children and that I had tried a “less invasive” solution first. all this sucked. it was paternalistic and condescending and led to me suffering for years for zero reason.

however. if I hadn’t gotten the hysterectomy back then and was trying to get one now, it would be harder. after becoming recognized as trans in medial systems, legally I would need two separate psychiatric professionals to write letters affirming I’d been under their observation, that I was mentally stable enough to know I wanted the surgery, and that they also believed it was necessary. and I would need to find a surgeon willing to operate on trans people.

like this is the difference. the literal procedures involved in medical transition are not exclusive to trans people. the difference is that these procedures are gatekept from us.

that’s why all the laws banning trans healthcare (in the US, I haven’t read legislation elsewhere) are framing it as only banned when someone has a “gender dysphoria” diagnosis. the point isn’t to stop performing the actual procedures, the point is to deny trans people healthcare because we are trans.

saying “trans people don’t need surgery” is like saying “cis people don’t need surgery.” like obviously not every cis person needs every surgery. but cis people have the right to surgery. and trans people deserve the same right.

I don't understand how cis people obsessed with gender norms think trans people are the weird ones. they're going around believing that your name has to correlate to your genitals. your fashion has to correlate to your genitals. your behaviours have to correlate to your genitals. your hobbies have to correlate to your genitals. who you date has to correlate to your genitals. whether you can put sparkles on your eyelids or not has to correlate to your genitals. and then people like me go "hmm. I might not do that. maybe I'll just do what feels fun and okay instead" and they LOSE their MINDS

i love fanfiction because unlike original work the plot and characters are all plotted and characterised for you to use so its a really good solution for those “i want to write but i dont know what to write” moods it lets you focus soley on the craft and its wonderful
