I have to change my strategy for studying. I can't really do it all in one day anymore, like I did in the past. There is just too much material and it's more difficult too - I'll have to start getting more done during the week and stay consistent with it. More smaller segments. I think I can do it! :) + A friend who moved out of the country is back for a while and he's joining me in my math lecture tomorrow!

I'm ashamed to say that there was not much productivity for today. It was my grandmother's birthday and my time was spent with my family whom I love and cherish. I managed to read a few pages of Dio's Roman History, I did some journaling and talked to my aunt about the pyramids and history conspiracies which was a rather new subject to me. Not something I have a firm opinion on for I am ignorant.

my period always nerfs me during times of academic distress, i’m in pain, tired, and my body feels like blehhh.. my mind feels like blehh.. all i wanna do is sleep. but my exam is in two days and i literally have no option. i gotta make it out of here in one piece!

Today i talked to my coordinator about how to move forward with my final project and she generally seemed pleased with what i’ve done so far. Also, for the first time maybe ever, she suggested i do something easier than what i was planning to do :)

I spent the rest of the day studying for the History of Cinema exam i have tomorrow. It’s the hardest exam i have this year and also the one with the least credits, which is very annoying. But i guess thats just how these things go sometimes.

9.4.26 - long time no see!

last time i posted here, i wasn't a full-time student, i was struggling with employment and completely lost with life after graduation.

now i am in my second year of masters at my dream university, currently on student exchange in beautiful taiwan. still lost with what i want to be but sometimes thing take unexpected turns.

i continued with english as my major but chinese has become such a core defining part of my academic identity and im excited to see where it will take me.

i still enjoy the same things; walks in nature, languages, ballet. but also i feel more like myself than i did three years ago. (and i still have the same pencil case...)
