I just want to highlight just how ol’ timey this racism is. The subject line “snipe hunt is over, the moon crickets are in the field bag” should not be overlooked because moon crickets is a slur used against black slaves who would get to together and sang hymns at night. This is an antebellum racial slur, and I get the feeling this is just a continuation of that tradition. Not an evolution of anti-black racism.
