OneNote is literally godâs gift to this earth. [ header art ]
I downloaded OneNote onto my mac air through my schoolâs office365 [which is a microsoft email login thing but is easily accessible on any kind of device and you can just delete the email acc later if you want]. OneNote can be accessed on a laptop, computer or ipad/tablet. i believe OneNote is available on the appstore as well?
I use OneNote as a digital bullet journal / planner and to write down all my study notes. i also have actual books for my study notes but i tend to prefer OneNote.
OneNote is super easy to use! think of it like an actual book:
1. DESIGNING THE COVER
When you open OneNote for the first time it will ask you to create a Notebook. You can name it whatever you wish and even choose the colour of it! You can have as many Notebooks as you like, so go wild !!
2. CHAPTERS
In your Notebook, you can have âchaptersâ, called sections or tabs. Depending on whether you use OneNote as a bujo or for study notes, these tabs can look like this:
3. PAGES
Time to fill your chapters! These pages will contain all of your content. Whether thatâs a weekly spread in your bujo or a page on DNA molecules in your humanbio Notebook. You can have as many as you want! Pages on OneNote tend to look like this:
Once you click on which page you want, itâll open !
4. SPREADS [for planners]
Spreads are completely personalised and customised depending on you! Anything you do in your physical bujo you can do on OneNote. Habit checker? Tables? Homework diary? Inspirational quotes? Cute doodles? Day-to-Day planner?Â
This is just an example of mine, you can do WHATEVER YOU WANT with yours !!
5. STUDY NOTES
My study notes are basically just what my teacher says during class or puts on the board, which is why theyâre almost always in bullet point form like this:
But obviously, you can edit your notes to be however youâd like them !!
6. OTHER INFO
One feature i really like about one note is the fact you can make the paper look like whatever you want. such as blank paper, margined + lined paper, graph paper etc. this is really helpful when writing notes and especially drawing diagrams !!
also, across the top is literally everything youâll ever need.
IN CONCLUSION:
Please download OneNote !! itâs so user-friendly and customisable. I was honestly shocked that more people werenât using OneNote in the studyblr community. Itâs such a lifesaver near test + exam time because all of your notes are in one place !!
also, OneNote autosaves and doesnt close if you close your laptop [as long as youâre not logged out or the computer is shut down] so youâll never lose your work !!
HERE is another post about me yelling about OneNote lmao
If you have any questions or problems, feel free to ask !! ((-:

The Washington Post CDC gets list of forbidden words: fetus, transgender, diversity
by Lena H. Sun and Juliet Eilperin | Dec. 15, 2017
The Trump administration is prohibiting officials at the nationâs top public health agency from using a list of seven words or phrases â including âfetusâ and âtransgenderâ â in any official documents being prepared for next yearâs budget.
Policy analysts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta were told of the list of forbidden words at a meeting Thursday with senior CDC officials who oversee the budget, according to an analyst who took part in the 90-minute briefing. The forbidden words are âvulnerable,â âentitlement,â âdiversity,â âtransgender,â âfetus,â âevidence-basedâ and âscience-based.â âŚâŚâŚâŚâŚ The question of how to address such issues as sexual orientation, gender identity and abortion rights â all of which received significant visibility under the Obama administration â has surfaced repeatedly in federal agencies since President Trump took office. Several key departments â including Health and Human Services, which oversees the CDC, as well as Justice, Education, and Housing and Urban Development â have changed some federal policies and how they collect government information about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans. âŚâŚâŚâŚâŚ At the CDC, the meeting about the banned words was led by Alison Kelly, a senior leader in the agencyâs Office of Financial Services, according to the CDC analyst, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to speak publicly. Kelly did not say why the words are being banned, according to the analyst, and told the group that she was merely relaying the information. âŚâŚâŚâŚâŚ The ban is related to the budget and supporting materials that are to be given to the CDCâs partners and to Congress, the analyst said. The presidentâs budget for 2019 is expected to be released in early February. The budget blueprint is generally shaped to reflect an administrationâs priorities. âŚâŚâŚâŚâŚ The reaction of people in the meeting was âincredulous,â the analyst said. âIt was very much, âAre you serious? Are you kidding?âââ
âIn my experience, weâve never had any pushback from an ideological standpoint,â the analyst said.
The Stanford prison experiment tapes were so stupid when I watched them in AP psych and so stupid when I watch this film about them. Literally they couldâve all sat and played cards and got $15 a day to tell ghost stories all day and be best friends. But masculinity and whiteness and power created this violent irrationality that positioned young ass men to be met with brutality and trauma and disrespect even when it was obviously taken too far. and it makes no sense. If someone put me in a room with Black girls and said I would get paid $90 a day (thatâs the equivalent apparently) to be a prison guard, do you know how fast Iâd be sitting with them and learning about them and exchanging Instagrams and like.. sleeping.. like what the fuck was the point of any of thatâŚ
My psych teacher introduced us to this study and literally before she showed us was like âdonât ever confuse a study based on one type of person (white men/boys) to be an example of an Everyman situation. There is strong evidence that if this was recreated with diversity, or even just with girls, that the results would have been drastically different. This is an example of bias and sexism in the medical research community.â
âOther, more subtle factors also shaped the experiment. Itâs often said that the study participants were ordinary guysâand they were, indeed, determined to be ânormalâ and healthy by a battery of tests. But they were also a self-selected group who responded to a newspaper advertisement seeking volunteers for âa psychological study of prison life.â In a 2007 study, the psychologists Thomas Carnahan and Sam McFarland asked whether that wording itself may have stacked the odds. They recreated the original ad, and then ran a separate ad omitting the phrase âprison life.â They found that the people who responded to the two ads scored differently on a set of psychological tests. Those who thought that they would be participating in a prison study had significantly higher levels of aggressiveness, authoritarianism, Machiavellianism, narcissism, and social dominance, and they scored lower on measures of empathy and altruism.â http://www.newyorker.com/science/maria-konnikova/the-real-lesson-of-the-stanford-prison-experiment
The thing about this study is that whether or not itâs generalizable to the public is debatable at best.
But itâs certainly generalizable to the population of people who tend to be drawn to prison system and law enforcement jobs because thatâs exactly the demographics that tend to show up in those positions.
This is good advice for people thinking about applying for grad school next year
Being attracted to men is an endless cycle of âWow heâs good lookingâ and watching that man do the absolute most to show you heâs hideous on the inside.
Where do y'all live and only find bad men?

i should make a low-effort cookbook
like you get those âi hate to cook! 101: easy meals for the kitchen novice!â and it still wants you to make a three-cheese spinach casserole
mine would be like
did you know you can put chocolate chips on a spoonful of peanut butter and obtain the perfect snack
did you know if you crack some eggs into your pasta sauce and stir thereâs more protein in it so you can go longer without having to make another goddamn meal
did you know you can mix a cup of cooked rice to any condensed soup instead of water and now you have dinner and breakfast
also put cheese on it
put cheese on fucking everything
and finally hereâs a list of things you can microwave in a short enough time that you wonât walk out of the kitchen, go back to bed, fall asleep for four hours, and totally forget you attempted a lunch
frozen pizza is expensive but! Â biscuits in a can + last dregs of jar of tomato sauce + some shredded mozzarella cheese = EIGHT MINIPIZZAS
dump all your chinese delivery into a hot pan and crack two eggs into it, stir, now it is soft and good
if you add a kraft single to mac and cheese from the box itâs magically more delicious (and if you also add hot sauce then itâs spicy)
nachos: chips + shredded cheese + salsa + rummage in fridge in case thereâs other things? Â and then under the broiler for a minute or two. Â if itâs hot it counts as a meal! Â works good on stale chips.
an incomplete list of vegetables that wonât instantly rot on you: anything frozen, cauliflower, cherry tomatoes (they get wrinkly but u can still eat them), carrots, onionsâŚi throw away a lot of veggies that have gone soft :(
i love parchment paper. Â $4 for a roll but lay it down on ur baking sheet and know youâll never have to scrub cheese or cookie crumbs off it again. Â perfect for cooking with low spoons. Â nothing sticks to it!
THIS IS SO IMPORTANT
also: mug cakes also also: if you cook rice you might as well dump some canned tomatos and canned beans in it. TADA NUTRITIONALLY COMPLETE MEALS in the list of foods that last: apples. apples can last an entire fucking winter. also also also: cottage cheese + bell peppers + crackers = what I ate for dinner for like a year
1. You cook the rice in a pot. No spices, no nothing, just water oil and rice.Â
2. Just before itâs ready, when thereâs about a pinkie fingernailâs worth of water on the top, add in a tablespoon of peanut butter.Â
3. Stir. Cook the rest of the way.Â
4. Itâs a meal! It has carbs and protein, itâs filling, it tastes good and it looks and feels like a legitimate dish, which is great for lifting the spirits a bit.Â
5. If you feel fancy, add a teaspoon of honey or a handful of crushed peanuts.Â
Alt., mix the rice with lentils. Cereal (rice, wheat) + legume (lentils, beans) = complete protein. Most peopleâs bodies will accept that in lieu of animal products.
Since no-one explained how to cook rice: (1) put bit of oil in pot, heat up on medium flame, (2) add 1-1.5 cup rice, mix up and add a bit of salt (you may need to reduce flame), (3) while youâre doing that, boil water in an electric pot, (4) add 2 cup water for each 1 cup rice; reduce flame a few seconds before you do that and mind the steam wonât hit you, (5) cover and set a 20min timer.
Pasta: (1) boil water, lots of water (covered pot goes fast; you can also use an electric pot for a shortcut and bring to a full boil on the stove - experiment), (2) up to 100 gr pasta per 1L water will work, but the more water per pasta the better, (3) reduce flame to medium (light bubbling), add pasta, set time to 10min, (4) check and add time as necessary - you may not need to.
Egg or bean noodled cook faster than pasta - like, half the time.
Easiest pasta sauce: 20-50gr of butter, melt; 1-2tbs lemon juice, homogenize; dump in pasta (and possibly peas, boiled from frozen). Taken 5min or under and will liven up pasta thatâs been sitting in the fridge.
Easiest cream sauce: 1 standard (250ml) cream carton, 1 tsp shredded cheese (keeps well in freezer) or more, 1 tbs cottage cheese, spices to taste. Heat in a small pot on a small-to-medium flame while stirring constantly (if itâs too hot to stick a finger in, itâs too hot). Takes maybe 5-10min. Will keep in fridge up to 1 week.
Rice freezes well. Pasta doesnât. Plain pasta (and most noodles) will last for up to a month in the fridge, though, and just dump it in the pan with some ketchup/tomato paste(+oil + water) and youâre good.
âŚnobody said that dry onion lasts? Dry onion lasts. Fried onion freezes well and keeps forever. So does diced garlic. If you like âem but worried about them going bad/donât always have the time or spoons to deal with âem, there you go.
Fresh bread freezes well. Keep emergency bread in your freezer, sliced. Itâll thaw in the fridge/on the counter overnight, or you can stick a slice as-is in the toaster (just turn it up 1 notch relative to your usual preference).
Potatoes in their peel are the single most nutritious food. (You can, actually, survive on mashed potatoes.) A boiled potato will stay good in the fridge for a couple days. Boil partway (should still somewhat resist a fork), turn over/toaster oven on 150C (350F) or higher while you do the rest, slice potato(s), spread like deck of cards, brush oil over (with the sort of silicone brush one uses for eggs - costs next to nothing and youâll be glad you got it), bit of salt, stick into oven and come back 20-40min later. Will re-heat well.
All of the following are good in eggs, just (1) dump them in the pan before the eggs, (2) the more you fluff up the eggs the betters: cubed semi-boiled potatoes, sliced/cubed tomatoes, tinned garbanzo beans (<-legume), tinned/frozen corn. Tinned and frozen stuff lasts forever. A pre-boiled potato and a couple eggs will save your ass on a cold, miserable morning.
3 shortbread cookies + 2 glasses of milk = 500kcal balanced dinner. Or breakfast.
1 cup cooked pasta + couple fluffed up eggs + shredded cheese (from frozen) to taste, in a stove-top pan or in the oven for ~20min = full meal.
Black lentils, cooked, will last nicely in the fridge - and unlike other legumes, they donât need a pre-soak and only take 20min to cook. ½ bowl + 3 tbs oil + 2 tsp lemon juice + Âź onion = dinner so nutritious you wonât believe it.
Cottage cheese and honey. No really. You only need a couple tsp honey for 250gr cottage tub.
1tbs peanut butter (flat as you can make it) + 3 tbs soy + 2 tbs maple/honey + 1 tsp vinegar = marinade for ~500gr of whatever. Takes ~5min to mix, 20min-2hr to soak, 5-10min to fry (non-stick pan and you donât need oil). This + pot of rice (<-make while chicken/meat soaks) = lunch for a week. (Or dinner, if dinnerâs your main meal.)
A tin of mayonnaise will last for months in the fridge. Hardboiled eggs last a nice while, too. 3 hardboiled eggs, chopped + 1tbs mayo + 1/3 onion chopped = 5min of work and egg salad for a few highly nutritious meals.
Ever make yourself hot chocolate? Make it with milk instead of water, for fuckâs sake. A large cup of hot chocolate is a legit small meal.
Buy broccoli and green beans frozen. For a couple dollars you can get a big enough bag of either to get at least 8-10 servings out of it and it keep for at least 6 months if you keep the bag closed. Buy a jar of chopped garlic in olive oil as well. Thatâll keep in your fridge for months and adding a little bit to a handful of broccoli or green beans and sauteing(lightly browning them in a pan or pot on the stove) them together until everything is warm is a cheap, easy way to have a flavorful snack or meal.Â
Also, ramen, drop an egg and a handful of some kind of frozen veggie(the previously mentioned ones or even some mixed carrots and peas) it adds a lot of nutritional value to your ramen, makes it so much more filling, and makes it have way better flavor than plain ramen.Â
Buy a jar of Better than Bouillon. Amazon has them for as cheep as $2.99 a jar and one jar has enough in it to make a couple gallons of broth. Just one teaspoon of this stuff added to 1 cup of water will give you a deliciously broth for soup. Pick your flavor and drop whatever veggies or noodles youâve got leftover in the fridge and youâve got dinner. Itâs also great to add to the water youâre cooking your rice in to give it some flavor as well.Â
Donât buy boxed Kraft mac and cheese. It may seem like an easy approach but there is a cheaper approach. A 3 lb bag of macaroni noodles is only a couple dollars and you can get a 1 lb bag of the powdered cheese just like in Kraft for $10 on Amazon. I bought a bag of cheese powder that size and it lasted me more than a year and I made mac and cheese once a week. You can also mix it with milk and broccoli and youâve got a great dinner of broccoli cheese soup.Â
My biggest tip for saving money on food is to make things that will freeze well. Say you make a pot of spaghetti. You could get 5 or 6 servings out of a full pot easily, if not more, but youâll get tired of spaghetti before itâs gone. Stick servings in plastic baggies(which are fine to rinse and reuse!) and freeze them! Then youâll be able to take out just the amount to eat for a meal and have some back up meals for when youâre loaded down with work, homework, etc and have no time to make a meal.Â
I⌠Really, reeeeally wish Iâd seen this about 5 months ago. So rebloggin now so I can find it again.
cottage cheese + tomato slices + chopped basil leaves = easy caprese (and a hell of a lot cheaper than buying mozzarella)
In my experience all rice is different (jasmine, long-grain, etc.) so prepare it like it says on the package.
Easiest Mac & cheese ever: make the pasta (add salt to the water). Melt a bit of butter in hot pasta. Throw in a whole heap of shredded cheese and stir. I like plain things but you can experiment with spices.
Advanced easy Mac & cheese: Roux sauce: melt Âź cup butter in pan, stir in Âź cup flour with salt and pepper (some people add cornstarch to thicken), slowly stir/whisk in 2 cups milk. Add cheese and allow to melt. Remove from heat and fold in cooked pasta.

MAKE IT SAUCY!!!!đ
Scientists invented fabric that makes electricity from motion and sunlight. To create the fabric, researchers at Georgia Tech wove together solar cell fibers with materials that generate power from movement. It could be used in âtents, curtains, or wearable garments,â meaning weâd virtually never be without power. Source
Y'all are fucking idiots. Clean energy will NEVER be enough to replace the energy we have now. Weâd have to tear down DOZENS of forests just to fit enough windmills and solar panels to get even a QUARTER (probably less, tbh) of the energy we can produce now.
Yeah, sure, when theyâve already calculated that a few square miles of panels in the empty ass Arizona desert could power the whole nation. But ok, fracking and the diminishing petroleum supply is worlds better.
Nevermind that windmills are often most efficient off the coast. There they take up no land, impact no trees, donât pollute the water, and are conveniently located where winds are often strongest anyway.
And solar panels can literally be built into roofs of buildings and in empty areas like deserts. The sun strikes the Earth with the same amount of energy in an hour that our civilization uses in a year.
But yeah, it would be impossible for us to ever have enough energy from clean sources.
Durr hurr technology is bad and I would rather light shit on fire than have clean energy
I can also testify to the Arizona desert being empty ass. And the California desert. And the Nevada desert.Â
alsoâŚno forests were cleared to make space for Denmarkâs windmills and yet they regularly produce so much power that it covers almost all of the countryâs power needs. Oh, and then thereâs the times when the windmills generate 140% of Denmarkâs power needs. https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2015/jul/10/denmark-wind-windfarm-power-exceed-electricity-demand
Friendly reminder that oil pipelines are a scam.
The fact that anyone can believe a limited amount of dinosaur oil is more plentiful and efficient than moving air or fucking sunlight is proof that entire populations can be completely brainwashed.

I think some adults need to realize that teens donât dislike adults because teens are rebellious and punk, a lot of kids and teens dislike adults because every interaction theyâve had with them is dismissing and condescendingÂ
Iâm not even a teenager anymore and I still feel like this.
lmaođ/smhđ
Eli Bosnick had the best response to this ridiculousness.
âIf I gave you a bowl of skittles and three of them were poison would you still eat them?â
âAre the other skittles human lives?â
âWhat?â
âLike. Is there a good chance. A really good chance. I would be saving someone from a war zone and probably their life if I ate a skittle?â
âWell sure. But the point-â
âI would eat the skittles.â
âOk-well the point is-â
âI would GORGE myself on skittles. I would eat every single fucking skittle I could find. I would STUFF myself with skittles. And when I found the poison skittle and died I would make sure to leave behind a legacy of children and of friends who also ate skittle after skittle until there were no skittles to be eaten. And each person who found the poison skittle we would weep for. We would weep for their loss, for their sacrifice, and for the fact that they did not let themselves succumb to fear but made the world a better place by eating skittles.
Because your REAL questionâŚthe one you hid behind a shitty little inaccurate, insensitive, dehumanizing racist little candy metaphor is, IS MY LIFE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS OF MEN, WOMEN, AND TERRIFIED CHILDRENâŚ
⌠and what kind of monster would think the answer to that question⌠is yes?â
