i would show u an excerpt from months ago if i still have it... its a wip for the reason that i am a fucking coward.
it's originally a fic for jtweek2026 with a magical mishap and doting alpha as the prompts but then it kind of spiralled out of my control... and now it's literally lost the fluff plot π FLUFF. ITS SUPPOSED TO BE DOMESTIC AND CUTE. i have terrible self control about fics ;-;
the general concept was around the rr run, jason gets cursed by some witch that fucks up his mind which kind of pseudo-bonds them together and jason has this misunderstanding that he's mates with tim and so tim has to deal with a very, very, very clingy alpha while searching for bruce. tim thought it's some stupid rut he just needed to fuck out of jason like it was fuck or die.. bad idea. did nothing to the spell but make it worse which supposedly only lasts for a certain amount of tme as long as the victim doesn't Fuck. but they didnt know that.
jason is at sort of half-rational state, like a puppet but not completely bc his instincts is the primary thing making him even function, to which tim has to learn to use his omega instincts and nature to keep him in check bc jason DOES NOT listen to anyone else but His Omega. not even tim! just His Omega, which so happens to be tim!
basically, tim is stuck with Giant Horny Puppy he's totally not happy about..
then the corruption thing occured to me in a way bc what if jason was just playing half dumb in the middle of it? what if, slowly he regains back his rationality and consciousness but tim is already so used to his antics and actually acting like mates that it just feels such a massive waste to let it end now... especially after tim had rejected him over and over and now they share a bed and cuddle whenever jason wants (they havent even kissed yet as per tim's insistence, even when theyve been fucking like crazy everytime jason just ruts up against his leg and tim just sighs).
what if jason plays the long game? but for how long? how long until the "spell" is broken and he doesn't have tim again? what if he finds bruce, their pack alpha to which tim had considered his only family left, and just ups and leaves him?
so he turns sweeter. he becomes indespensible. he shows.. initiative now, instead of just the big puppy tim has been treating him. he cooks and cleans and fixes a nice nest for tim (in my hc, jason was omega pre-death). he never leaves tim's side. he makes sure he's easy to be around with in contrast to everything else. he takes care of the other... problems tim has, permanently when necessary. and tim would forgive him, because he had no choice but to. he can take a scolding or even tim beating him up but he just needs to snuggle against him and tim can never really push him away <33 until his very presence grounds tim despite all the blood he'd shed for him, so when u take him away he's free falling.
(its not truly "corruption" in the term jason is turning tim into his image and ideology, but sort of?? grooming??? into becoming his?? i suppose that's the better term for it. accidental corruption/grooming??)
then when tim is so, so very close to finding bruce, he leaves.
partly to save himself from tim leaving him first, but also to see if tim would choose him. he wants him to feel when he's not around and miss him, enough to find him. (he left just before tim's heat.. but that's just a fair coincidence on his part. totally.)
aaaaand idk yet maybe ill make this more fucked up dubcon in jason's part bc that was the plan !! ill have it written out someday.... its gonna be Long and im scared π

That's right, Tim and Jason get free and (unfortunately) Tim did get drugged with a faux heat inducer, so they go at it for a while (Cass gives them a thumbs up and some space to work it out of their systems) and get a baby out of it. Tim just sighs and continues trying to figure out what the fuck he's gonna do when Jason has -69 braincells and won't stop jumping him.
