I'm obsessed with the way Zelink is sort of confirmed by the BOTW and TOTK timeline in the most subtle way possible. My favourite details are, of course, surrounding the house in Hateno. We all worked our butts off to buy Link that house, and now it is Zelda's house. She has a 'girl cave,' which wouldn't make sense if she lived alone. Her diary mentions Link and their lives because he's a part of her life. Link can vote in the election at Hateno as a resident because he lives there with Zelda. And, perhaps most damning, Link can sleep in Zelda's bed. Link never sleeps in a bed that doesn't belong to him, so hello. I also love a lot of the little details. The house in Hateno now has a bathroom, which makes me think Link had that put in for Zelda. It's also decorated, and Link's weapons are no longer on the walls, again, it makes it seem more homey, and like something a couple would do. Also, the bed is different, it isn't like the single beds at the inns, it's a little wider, like the one in that married couple's house. The one with the guy who took part in the election. The other thing I love is the cut scenes where Zelda is in ancient Hyrule and she mentions Link and they're like 'he sounds great. Would love to meet him.' That is so couple-y of her!! Anyway. I'll be normal now.
