Bespoke: Loki and Sigyn as toxic genderfluid Yuri
Loki: *lying on the bed* How do people get up in the morning knowing that they’ll actually have to go outside and go about life?
Valkyrie: *bed rotting with a glass of vodka right next to Loki* I dunno
Valkyrie: *takes a swig of vodka*
Thor: *coming out from under the bed* they were the ones who chose to go to therapy for this
Loki: ah…
I miss the heyday of the Loki fandom, so here are a few headcanons that I’ve had rattling around since the series came out:
-Frigga was a skilled herbalist (raised by witches, after all!), and when he was a kid, Loki would go with her to her garden or out to the woods to forage. He knows tons of plant lore and herbal spellcraft, even though he never talks about it.
-Loki knows how to do seithr, which for Asgardians involves astral projection. It’s very dangerous, though, and he’s only achieved it once or twice. Surprisingly, he learned it from Odin, not Frigga.
-This one is more about New Asgard. Asgard had an amazing library that was destroyed in Ragnarok. But there were Asgardians off-world when it happened, and many of them had books with them, so when New Asgard was established, they started rebuilding the collection. Some of the grimoires on the shelves are books that Loki learned from and would recognize.

i started rewatching the loki series because i’m in dire need of more loki in my life but unfortunately doomsday isn’t going to be out for a while, so i must adapt
anyways, i noticed that when mobius is playing lokis “greatest hits”, specifically his invasion of new york, loki seems very uhhhhh how do i word this.. not really proud.. not entirely guilty but he reacts like he’s being shown a part of him that he is deeply ashamed of. he doenst really look at the projection often and he becomes very defensive, saying things like “i don’t have to play this game” while looking at the floor and reminding mobius (and maybe himself..) that he is a god
this behavior kind of indicates to me that he wants to be disconnected from his actions (especially because, as we know, he was manipulated by thanos and the black order) and the violence that ensued in new york, although this desire definitely seems more of an internal conflict because he very much does not want to let down the mask he has that basically says “hey i don’t care that people are hurt because im a god and humans are boring and worthless”
his mind almost pushes down the thoughts of remorse because he’s afraid of being perceived as weak or pathetic because how dare he show any emotion that is not traditionally related to power or dominance because then how will he ever be worthy if he is not perceived as powerful
