I started putting together a playlist for m-1 jimmy, which means I’ve started thinking… a lot about empires jimmy. I’ve always had far too many emotions about how jimmy’s treated, but finally putting it to music has done irreparable things to me, I think. So anyway… some drawings to Gang of Youths’ Achilles Come Down.

Techno is strange. He talks to people that aren't there, he has a fascination with blood, he has nightmares that leave him wide-eyed and whispering quiet chants at night, but Phil loves him nonetheless. He teaches him to fight as soon as he can walk, teaches him how to kill to defend himself, to make it swift and painless and only when necessary. He tries to help him learn how to channel his magic, but it's clear that Techno is growing stronger than he anticipated. Still, Phil loves him. And Techno doesn't have any reason to hate.

What they don't realize is everything would've been okay if they'd just left Phil and techno alone. But Phil was considered a traitor and deserter, and the king continued to send people after them. When techno turns thirteen, the king's soldiers finally catch up with them and take Phil prisoner. Before they find Techno, Phil hides him away and makes him promise to run if they find him. When they finally leave with his father beaten unconscious and bound in chains, techno swears to raze their kingdom to the ground. If he finds his father dead, then no one else in the kingdom will be left alive.

He reaches out to his god, to the voice that's whispered in his head since he was a boy, and he takes him up on the offer he's been denying for years.

Enjolras: The Overly Political One. He has strong opinions about the political message of les mis. Thinks Javert content is copaganda. Only writes stuff in the tags, not in the actual post.

Combeferre: The Historian. Knows everything about 19th century France. Gets asks frequently asking for specific historical moments or references in the brick.

Courfeyrac. The OG One. He’s one of the oldest les mis fans in tumblr. Everyone sort of respects him because he has been around for so long. You know your post is going to blow up when he reblogs it.

Bossuet. The Causal Fan. Is in too many fandoms to pick, only posts occasional les mis content.

Joly. The Meme Maker. Usually makes funny posts. Writes really bad fanfic as a joke.

Jehan. The Talented One. Writes really good fanfic and draws amazing fanart, but is really shy about it. Nobody understands how they’re so talented.

Bahorel. The One Who Doesn’t Like Les Amis. Is not that he doesn’t like them, but he prefers content about Valjean, Cosette, Fantine or Javert.

Feuilly: The Artist. He’s the one to make those iconic fanarts that you see everywhere.
