So the thing is boobs really do be jiggling. If having breasts has taught me anything it is that the ladies frolic. I don't even have that large of boobs but every time I go down some stairs all I can think about is that stupid quote about boobing breastily down the stairs or whatever it is because God Damn.
But anime and video game boob jiggling is like. The most uncanny valley shit I've ever seen nine times out of ten. You would think people this horny about tits would have actually looked at some but I guess not.
What we really need is some pervert to compile the ultimate visual guide to boob bouncing physics that's just like 500 hours of meticulously organized videos of breasts of different size and shape and under different fabrics bouncing around from a wide variety of physical movements so horny game devs can finally get it right and I don't have to be creeped out by women who appear to have surgically implanted softballs in their chest under skin made of rubber bands.
Does anyone know what to do about the temperature and also the prices
POV: You've disturbed Astarion mid his afternoon sensual-half-clothed-bloodied-bed-lounge. What do you have to say for yourself?
When I was a teenager and still on Neopets I was part of a pretty big Star Trek guild and eventually became part of its council, with the solemn duty of creating weekly polls. Well one day I created the poll "Which would win in a fight? Borg Cube or Death Star?". Naturally, since this was a Star Trek guild, the answer was overwhelmingly "Borg Cube", but someone did have the rationality to point out we were biased.
So I look up a pretty prominent Star Wars guild and message one of their council and ask them to poll the same question and get back to me in a week. They do, and naturally the fuckin geeks said "Death Star".
So then I look up a Stargate guild and messaged the lead council member, saying the same thing, and they get back to me almost immediately saying that the Death Star would immediately one-shot a Borg Cube but they would never be able to do it again to another Cube. And I took that wisdom back to my guild and we were mollified, and for one moment the Nerd World was peaceful.
Truly thrilled to finally find this post on my dash.

I donât know who needs to hear this,
There was no universal Scandinavian religion, or Slavic, or Celtic.
They were multiple mini cultures with changing and differing views.
Thatâs why we have different beliefs on who was the âHigh Godâ in the Norse myths and physical evidence that we have left. Tyr, Freyr, Odin; have all been the High God in different cultures. Because people didnât collect under orthodox and shared religion in a pre Christian world the way they do now.
You can now make a more collective religion, but saying there was always one, is a mistake at best and pseudo history at worst.
I know I already made a post to this effect but it's so baffling to me when someone defends the fact that headphone jacks are slowly but surely getting phased out by smartphone manufacturers with some variations of "wireless headphones are more convenient anyway" bc like. If we're talking about convenience what I like about wired headphones is that they conveniently have a single plug that makes the same damn pair of headphones universally compatible with every single audio-output-capable device I own, from my phone and my computer to my fucking gameboy and my casette player, it doesn't get any more convenient than that.

not to oversimplify an extremely complex discipline but if i had to pick one tip to give people on how to have more productive interactions with children, especially in an instructive sense, its that teaching a kid well is a lot more like improv than it is like error correction and you should always work on minimizing the amount of âno, wrongâ and maximizing the amount of âyes, and?â for example: we have a species of fish at the aquarium that looks a lot like a tiny pufferfish. children are constantly either asking us if thatâs what they are, or confidently telling us thatâs what they are. if you rush to correct them, you risk completely severing their interest in the situation, because 1. kids donât like to engage with adults who make them feel bad and 2. they were excited because pufferfish are interesting, and you have not given them any reason to be invested in non-pufferfish. Instead, if you say something like âIt looks a LOT like a tiny pufferfish, youâre right. But these guys are even funnier. Wanna know what theyâre called?â you have primed them perfectly for the delightful truth of the Pacific Spiny Lumpsucker
I was in martial arts for years, and in particular I kinda specialized in working with the younger kids.
The two Big Rules when instructing younger students was- 1. Compliment before Critique 2. Donât say âbutâ, say ânowâ
Praise kids on what they get right first, especially if they are struggling. Like OP said, kids donât like to engage with people who make them feel bad. They need encouragement when learning new things.
Number two boils down to this. If you tell a kid a compliment, then say âbut you need to fix thisâ, that âbutâ completely negates your compliment. Itâs gone. It was canceled out like adding a negative to a positive. Using âhey, that punch is looking great, now letâs focus on your stanceâ doesnât verbally cancel out the progress theyâve made. Itâs like theyâve checked off something on their list of stuff to work on.
Wording can absolutely make or break a childâs motivation and interest.
Rebloggling as itâs relevant in a Medical Education context
Honestly I use all of these to teach vet students too. I think people in general respond better to positivity in teaching. Not coddling, but acknowledging when a student got part way to the right answer, or had a good thought process, is something Iâve found keeps students engaged and builds confidence, which encourages them to keep going instead of shutting down and just âgetting throughâ a lab or a rotation

disabled ppl we need to start lying to nosy people okay? you tell me i'm too young to need a cane and i will tell you point blank that maybe you should tell that to the guy who ran me over. you don't get an explanation of my health issues you get lies and depending on how much of an asshole i want to be that lie will be anything from a humble car crash to a 1 billion lions attack. mind yr business.
"i could never live like that" well maybe you'll have to because this happened overnight. yeah you heard me i was the most able bodied man in the world but then one morning bam i woke up disabled. yeah you could have that too. there's no cure either you'll just wake up one morning and now you have to live like me
"what happened" well have you ever seen looney tunes? yeah an anvil landed on me and squished me flat.

âTheyâre not smarter or faster theyâre buying up othersâ lifetimes to do their choresâ
âTheyâre not smarter or faster theyâre buying up othersâ lifetimes to do their choresâ
âTheyâre not smarter or faster theyâre buying up othersâ lifetimes to do their choresâ
[images: series of tweets from @realavocadofact. tweets read, âtheyâre not elite theyâre richâ, âtheyâre not better theyâre better suppliedâ, âtheyâre not smarter or faster theyâre buying up othersâ lifetimes to do their choresâ, âthere is nothing wrong with you; youâre doing your best in a game rigged against you, probably not enough people and fruit tell you thatâ]
I see this reaction a lot, and I gotta say, it always makes me a little sad. Whenever the conversation of exploitation of labor comes up, inevitably someone finds themselves struggling with the guilt of âIt is so important to me not to contribute to exploitation but I cannot do this thing myself and need someone else to do it for me, so how do I even approach that?â
Exploitation isnât in the hiring of a service worker. Exploitation is in the respect you show them for their ability to perform the service you need from them.
I have been on a cleaning service staff before, and also been someone who hired a cleaning service, and I can tell you for sure that a lot of cleaning crews (especially worker owned ones) absolutely LOVE their clients and are genuinely happy to be able to make their lives better. The clients they donât like? Those are the ones who disrespect the workers.
When I was involved with a cleaning service, we had everything from little old ladies living alone to McMasions with five cars as clients, and I can assure you that whenever there was someone who clearly hired us because they were overwhelmed or unable to keep their space clean, those were the households where you put a little more elbow grease in and did a deep clean even when it wasnât paid for, because you could see how much these people were trying and struggling, and they were always so kind and generous and often embarrassed when talking to you about the job.
I only hired a service a couple if times in my life, but whenever I did, I worked with the same people as often as I could, tipped as well as I could afford, and tried to be the kind of client I would want to have, and thatâs how I often ended up with my baseboards cleaned too, or my fridge scrubbed and organized or a restorative clean done in a high use room even when that wasnât what I had scheduled or paid for.
Iâve heard the same thing from all manner of service workers over the years. Many of us like our jobs! We enjoy the work. Itâs the customers that can do a number on you.
I think a lot of people are afraid that by needing a service they are inherently exploiting or harming the people who perform that service, and they really arenât. But it does benefit a capitalist system for us to all be burnt out and overwhelmed because weâre too afraid to hire the help we need. Be upfront and honest with service workers about what you need and why you need it, and treat them with dognity and kindness while they perform your service, and I promise you they will always be happy to answer your call.
HIRING A PROFESSIONAL TO CLEAN YOUR HOUSE ISNâT MORE EXPLOITATIVE THAN GOING TO A DENTIST OR ORDERING A PIZZA
We all fucking depend on each other, itâs about respect and treating one another as fellow humans instead of seeing them as below us
