seeing "protect the action figures" as a response to "Protect the dolls" is maybe the most insulting thing I've ever seen, to both trans men and trans women.

First of all, the term "protect them dolls" exists because trans women, and especially trans women of color, are killed disproportionally. you are literally "all lives matter"-ing this.
