Having ADHD is so fun because sometimes youre looking for something that you use regularly and definitely put away in a smart and reasonable place and you have absolutely 0 hope of remembering where and finding it. And then other times ur like "hmm I need a some kind of small pointed object. I feel like i remember seeing a paperclip under the left couch cushion a month ago, i wonder if its still there" and it is
"wait but if u saw the paperclip why would u just leave it there?" its the adhd. Also if i had put it away then i wouldnt have been able to find it a month later when i needed it. So. Checkmate neurotypicals.
Problem is when the ADHD catalogue is out of date, when you go to check under the couch cushion for that paperclip and it ISNT there, sometimes your brain will just give you a montage of false memories of everywhere you've ever seen a paper clip, like this
yeah yeah the paperclip montage, we've all seen it

In light of the no.1 trending topic on this site, I'd like to inform youse that Kitty Kendall, one of the survivors who bravely spoke out against Neil Gaiman and accused him of rape in 2025, has said here and here that if you are looking to support her and other survivors, you can make a donation to OurVOICE (the counselling service Kendall herself used) or your local rape crisis centre. If you can't make a donation, you can help to ensure people do not forget what Kendall and other survivors have gone through and continue to go through as they pursue legal action, and that Gaiman has already spent a lot of money in the attempt to sue these women for speaking out.

A missing scene. Thanks for all the fanart and fic throughout the years, you guys
And you know what I think if Gertrude murdered Ophelia, she did that shit thinking of it as a mercy. The world has no place for madwomen, especially women who know too much. Boys can be dismissed and sent away, but girls? Nuh uh. Tis an unmanly grief, and a woman, perhaps, can clock another woman who knows something is wrong, who might do something dangerous, who might try to act out. And what would it bring her? Horrifying her brother even more, driving him to madness? Seeing the ghost of her father? Someone else important dying by accident, or 'accident'?
Nah. Gertrude smothers Ophelia and calls it a mother's blessing. End her life before it becomes too late, and she's disgraced in a way she can't come back from.
(End her life before she becomes like you, all strange and opaque?
The thing you learn about being a woman, I suppose, is that you're not really supposed to exist at all.
Ophelia spilled over her, too much overflow, the way Hamlet was disrupting the narrative. Better to go gentle into that good night.)
