Westeros invades the lands between, both are united, westeros sending every house and force in a coalition army with Targaryens with dragons led by Baelor and Maekar as well as all their children, and the Lands Between being unified under the Golden Order under Marika.
Who wins the battle?
My alternate history star wars AU, what if Order 66 failed
Its not very organized, and just text.
The premise is, what if the jedi survived order 66 and became radicalized and totally committed to war and genociding the sith once and for all, and Sidious went with what remained of the CIS to form a Neo-Sith empire to fight back. With the clones now eliminated, order 66 failed, and the Jedi out for blood, they'd fasttrack every of age jedi to a fighting role, as well as arrest control of many power bases of the galactic republic and its institutions, while keeping the senate and what checks and balances they cant take intact to try and keep order.
the Neo Sith are more of a militant religious movement led by Sideous, who operates now semi somewhat in the shadows and somewhat as a figurehead, with the CIS remaining intact, but even more of a puppet organization for the Neo Sith, who would be elite infantry and the leaders of the CIS.
The clone wars would end, and the Jedi Reconquests / Sith Genocides would begin, a series of wars which would rend the galaxy apart, in a way unseen since many epochs ago.
Order 66 (in this) would have failed because the jedi felt the disturbance before the order, and could react faster, killing their clones or fleeing, etcerera, more surviving and being able to, most importantly, hold the temple through a siege. The clones are all but eradicated and those who survived gradually became more aware of what they’d done like in canon, some went on to try and become military instructors for the republic's new conscript and volunteer army, others retired, all were more or less ashamed. In short, it’s a near miss.
Anakin gets pulled from the brink, realizing whats happening, he alongside others begin to defend the temple, so he’s still the chosen one. Mace windu is badly hurt but survives, and sideous still escapes, so its like what happens in the canon timeline, but different.
The Jedi are def a more militant/militarized force, human/humanoid jedi would have a streamlined "kit" similar to their clone wars counterparts, made up of jedi robes with phase I or II clone armor and optionally a helmet, or just jedi armor, while other jedi who aren't humanoid would likely wear robes or whatever they usually wear but maybe up armored or just relying on their lightsabers. They'd make up either groups of fighters or lead groups of republic soldiery in a similar but much more committed capacity to the clone wars jedi clone dynamic, with the judiciary forces and such taking a more center stage alongside the newly remolded republic army.
The CIS would remain largely unchanged, a majority of it would still be droids and droid commanders, with Planetary defense forces, corporate armies, or volunteer forces filling gaps, then the neo sith also filling other roles. The Neo Sith would likely be something more akin to inquisitors or sith acolytes, sideous would kidnap or indoctrinate literally any force user or force sensitive regardless of age and try to arm and armor and educate them, likely just using them as fodder or decently capable shock troops, with those who are capable rising through meritocracy, safe to say, the siths rule of two, and many of their traditions, would change thru necessity. Luckily the CIS already has the industrial base and armed forces to bolster this new sith force and they'd likely be able to quickly regain a footing and even the fight for a prolonged galaxy wide conflict.
I am a big mandalorian fan, and given Mandalore would have been freed of Maul by now, whos now at large after escaping alongside Ahsoka (who likely returned to the order) with rex too, they'd probably have a big debt to the republic, and would send warrior. In some capacity, Mandalorian instructors would fill republic war academies, officer schools, etcetera. But also, Mandalorian warriors would join the ranks as volunteer, mandalorian only shock and special units in the Republic Grand Army. The CIS themselves would likely have SOME mandalorian forces, likely small remnants, mercenaries, or whoever had ambitions of power and saw it in the CIS.
Maul himself would likely go down a similar path to his in canon self, becoming the shadow lord, but without the empire coming down on him, and some other minor changes.
Maul himself would likely form a sort of third dark power, neither Jedi nor Sith, rebuilding a Shadow Collective style criminal empire that profits off the war itself, with stuff like black market war material, blockade running, smuggling Force sensitive refugees out from under Sidious's nose, not even out of altruism or anything, but because every child he takes is one less soldier for his old master and one more potential follower for himself.
Another TF AU!
For a thousand years, the Great Houses of Cybertron prospered under the leadership of "The Summit", a governing body of the Cybertronii Imperalis, made up of the leaders of the Great Houses within the Cybertronian Realpolitik. House Iacon, House Kaon, House Polyhex, House Vos, House Tarn, and House Yuss. Each leader of a Great House was under the leadership of a religious leader, someone who directly communed with Primus himself in spirit and mind, their designation, was a Prime. This religious leader sat at the very top of the spiritual and organizational hierarchy of Cybertronian society, with the Great House leaders following his guidance and council for their own governance. The Great Houses each ruled a fortress city, named after their house, bastions of civilization in the great sea of desolation and destruction that was Cybertron after the Desolation of Cybertron, and the Quintesson Scourge.
These cities each contributed to the wider cybertronian economy and somehow impacted the wider world, with minor houses under them relegated to something akin to noble families and lines within the broader house itself. The worship of Primus has existed for much of Cybertronian history. Since the dawn of their species millennia ago from the liquid metal dermis womb of Primus himself, one has been budded, per lifetime, with the legendary Matrix of Leadership inside them. Since recorded history, these individuals have been "primes", which have always in some way been the focal point and heart of Cybertronian history, civilization, and politics. These Primes hear the voice of Primus in their sparks, and can commune with the world-god himself, thus being the living vessel of their will amongst his children. Following the tenure of Zetus Prime the wise, a new prime was being raised and prepared to assume the mantle of Prime, Optimus Prime. The world of Cybertron was at its tipping point, the so called "golden age" was coming to an end, and those in power could see it, their knives well hidden and veiled, but prepared to strike. In the city of Kaon, a gladiator-sportsman and avid poet, political reformist, and speaker, Megatron, spoke out more day by day against The Summit and its governance. He wrote one of the first medical texts which was also partly a political thesis.
He dictated that Kaonites were inherently militant, and rightly needed to cull the weak of the civilization, as well as ensure the stellar dominance of the Cybertronii Imperalis on its colony worlds such as earth. He published this work, and it spread, propelled alongside his speeches and protests, going against The Summit day by day. The movement propelled forward into a group calling itself "The Decepticons", who coined the slogan of "if speaking the truth is deception, then we are gladly guilty." War broke out at just the right time, during a religious eclipse day, Decepticon militants assassinated the heads of House Vos and House Pax, wounding the others, using a IED explosive.
Plans unfurled, and the Great Houses began to infight for control of The Summit, leading to the Decepticons growing unchecked and violently fast, gradually overtaking massive swaths of territory amidst the chaos, and choking out the Great Houses control, until they were all but subsumed or eradicated. The Autobots, a ragtag resistance movement, made up of former Imperialis military and freedom fighters, moved to fight against the Decepticons, led by the last prime, Optimus Prime, who was still young, and hadn't even been rited into the role. Since this, the war has waged for many thousands of years, across not only Cybertron, but its colonial outposts and territories.
Even Earth has suffered, its local species being brought into a war they had no want for.

Prisoner Dragon Galviu
One of the last dragons left in Veslund, he is a crude and agonized example to all of the realm of what man did to Dragonkind, as well as what true power looks like and who wields it, his wings were sawed off, he was muzzled with a helmet nailed into his flesh, and he was mutilated, and made into a living plaything for the tantamount of gladiator fights, to be defeated again and again. He has lived since the Beastbane crusades, and simply wishes to die, his will to fight crushed, and his ambitions to be free destroyed, he only desires to rest forever now.
Galviu serves as a symbol of Veslundic power and pride, to show the imperial house still has its heritage in dragon killers, and he is their living trophy.

The Gladiator Pits of Efferion
Gladiator Sport is something that was established in the reign of Otis Veslund XVI. During his day, the people of Veslund needed something to distract themselves from the toils of daily life, something else besides the occasional Tourney, or the every so often war or squabble which would erupt between local lords. As such, Otis established something based on old world traditions, the Gladiator Pits.
These gladiator pits were and are dug deep into the soil of the city and its outskirts, tiered construction ranging far downward into the realms supple soil, and then laid with marble stone and extravagances. The masses sat at the lowest rungs up, while the nobles, lords, and ladies sat middleward and higher, the royal house sat at the highest rung and watched down.
All manners of beasts and men enter these gladiator pits, massive plains lions, caimans, bears, even beasts of import like Mind Flayers, Kelpie, Unicorns, or Trolls.
Men both prisoner and fighter compete in these games, those who are prisoner are able to fight for their freedom or die trying, while professional fighters simply play mock battles for clout and popularity. A popular fighter in the pits is Ser Halfath, a former knight who was found guilty of dereliction to his duty, then fought hard for his freedom, and found a new path into the morrow as a gladiator.

My 4th TF setting
Transformers AU; Fractured Cybertron, Ruins of a Shattered World
The Neo-Decepticons
The Neo-Decepticons are a decentralized might makes right ultra-extremist group formed from the new generation of Cybertronians post war. Not seeing the war first hand, the Neo-Decepticons attempt to reignite conflict and romanticize the decepticon cause, flaunting terms like peace through tyranny, without truly grasping its historical weight or the violence of the war. This faction in particular is made up of various decentralized sects, fighting to reignite the war and bring about a total decepticon victory, whatever that means in their view, they leverage terror bombings, bioweapons, ecoterrorism, civilian targeting, and cyberwarfare, often using the unregulated and battered digital infrastructure left from the war to organize.
The Decepticon Remnants
The Decepticon Remnants are those who refuse to lay down their arms, refuse to stop the great war, and refuse to stop fighting. Entire battalions either never learned the war ended or just didn’t stop fighting. These hardliners are either too stupid to defect or too loyal to, leading to constant guerilla and conventional skirmishes with the New Cybertronian Council. Even with the death of Megatron at the Battle of Luna, they have not stopped fighting, and some believe will not, holding the last flickering flame of the true decepticons war and ambitions in their servos.
The True Decepticons
The True Decepticons are a group of extremist reformist who believe in the original ideological teachings of Megatron, spreading his philosophical works and preaching them as gospel, they come into conflict with other post-Decepticon factions, believing in things like the extinction of functionalism, the death of the governance of primes, peace through tyranny, and true equality through strength.
The Megatronist’s
Led by Soundwave, the Megatronist’s are a hardliner remnant group who inhabit the Nemsis, Megatrons personal flagship during the war. Seeing his fall, they continued his legacy how they believe he would want it, with Soundwave, Megatrons right hand, at the helm. They have slowly moved back towards Cybertron, although with such small numbers, they can only commit to small scale attacks.
Shockwaves Conclave
Shockwave never truly believed in the Decepticon cause, he was a pragmatist, a bot who followed logic to the extreme as a way of life, and the Decepticons were the strongest and ensured his survival, so he followed them. But when Megatron fell in 1987 on Luna, he left almost immediately, using a personal spacebridge to return to his lab on Cybertron in the Sea of Rust. From there he implemented a isolationist policy, forming his scientific conclave. All decepticons present became his hostage population, acting as unwilling guards, guinea pigs, food, chattel, and workforce, cannibalism is regularly practiced, with so little energon, it is the only reliable way to survive, and while Shcokwave lives in his gilded tower doing his studies, a starving population stumbles around in his fortress, a personal army of insecticons and predacons keeping them in check if need be.
The Iacon Primearchy
Optimus Prime, upon the end of the war, returned to Cybertron and assumed his titles full berth of responsibilities and entitlements, becoming the Prime of Iacon, and ruler of the polity itself. By far the most utopian of all post war factions, the Primearchy is still flawed, being a single city state on a dying world, it lacks much of a fighting force, and has a small population, mostly autobots and neutrals who laid their arms down and joined optimus at the city. Although the ever optimistic optimus has not given hope up yet, despite the signs.
The New Cybertronian Council
By far the largest cybertronian group post war, led by Ultra magnus, kup, and perceptor, the council is the revamping and revitalization of the pre war Functionalist council, embracing the learned human concepts of Egalitarianism, democracy, and doing away with functionalism alltogether. The council on paper controls all territory on cybertron besides iacon, but in practice, this is far from the truth due to various factions. On paper, the council should get taxes and tithes from their colonies, Antilla, Caminus, Aquatron, Elonia, and Devisiun. In practice, all these worlds are small, isolationist conclaves which widely ignore cybertron, still reeling from
The war which spilled onto their worlds, forming the Union of Cybertronian Worlds.
The Steadfasts
The Steadfasts are Autobots who did not shove off the title of Autobot, unlike many around them, they did not simply dissolve into civilian life, forming a paramilitary cult of personality around Optimus Prime, roving cybertron and its colonies and executing decepticons with prejudice, leading to a proxy war in which in some ways the great war continues, despite being over. The Steadfasts never gave the war up and opted to not settle for peace, deciding to continue the fight.
The Union of Cybertronian Worlds
The UCW is the united constituent body of the colonies Antilla, Caminus, Aquatron, Elonia, and Devisiun. Resource poor and lacking much infrastructure, these worlds united by using spacebridges to link themselves up, allowing what limited goods they had to flow back and forth, be it shanix, energon, supplies, people, etcetera.
Vos
Vos, ruled by Starscream, is a microstate polity in the confines of the city Vos and its outskirts. Vos was and is the home of the seekers, and as such, once the war ended, the ever ambitious Starscream returned home and erected a poorly managed autocratic authoritarian dictatorship based solely around his crownship, in which he led everything while his seekers reigned as elites and the warrior caste, a new caste of peasantry existing below with no mobility, more like serfs. Starscream created a cult of personality, megalomaniacally ruling with an iron fist from the tallest spires of the city while his populous suffers at the feet of his thugs and appointed elites, other seekers and fliers like him.
The Terrorcon Cult/Cult of Unicron
The Cult is a violent accelerationst destructive death cult worshipping the entity known as unicron, a consumer of worlds, and the brother of Primus. Led by Scourge, the cult is divided into hundreds of decentralized cells across known space, in a starfish organizational structure. They are extremely dangerous and violent, killing life with prejudice and having no concern for their own wellbeings.

The Decepticons are gonna be a monarchial superpower on Cybertron which rapidly expanded outwards and tried to enslave humanity during the 1st great war, in which the polities of Prima and Orius banded together and kicked the Decepticons off of earth, this was during the BCE era of course so the only remnants left are long gone or buried.
The 2nd war is a war between the Decepticons, a league of polities (Kaon, Tarn, Polyhex, Vos, Etc) led by former Chieftain megatron named after the ancient folk hero Megatronus, Megatron grew up rural in the wild wastes of the sea of rust and went to the city to become the governor for his sector, his speeches radicalized the assembly and it all kinda fell into disarray, multiple polities of the assembly (aformentioned) basically swearing liegedom to him, while his rival, Orion Pax, next in line for Prime in the seat, see's this and goes "yeah thats...worrying" and tries to reason with him, they become very close friends, for a time, before having a falling out and eventually going different ways, the war sparking as both sides radicals fight eachother in the streets. The Autobots, a brand new party in the Assembly, meaning "Autonomous Bots" (Bot being slang introduced from small migrant organic populations on Cybertron), form from the Polities of Iacon, Prima, Orius, Hydrax, etc.
Megatron's deciple and inheritor of the throne is gonna be either Soundwave, Tarn, or someone else.
the war will last for a long, long time, millions of years, and yes, earth will be dragged into it as well. The decepticons have most of the military powerhouses in their league and such, but the Autobots have a lot of the politicians, logisticians, technicians, scientists, etc, even if they cant fight as well or on par, they have strengths to match the cons weaknesses.
Cybertronians are genderless, some are skinnier, some are bigger, etcetera, this is merely aesthetic rather than an implication of gender. Cybertronians reproduce asexually through budding, in which a tear of liquid metal buds from the cybertronians body and forms into a scraplet, the first stage of the cybertronian life cycle.
Cybertronians wear clothes, simple ornamentation such as Headdresses, robes, ponchos to protect from weather, badges to denote allegiances, and even tribal, clan, or polity based markings such as face paint, tattoos, special garbs, etcetera.
Cybertronian Anatomy is unique, their bodies are made of a entirely unique living metal which mimics biological functions, while not being biological lifeforms, their bodies have a sort of thick interwoven “musculature” as well as thick metal endoskeletal joints similar to skin muscle and bones respectively. Their spark chambers contain a spark, their most vital organ, similar to a heart or brain, as well as multiple organs for processes such as energon refinement and processing, internal fluids purification, energon pumping, etcetera.
Cybertronians vary in size, but generally they can be split up into a few “subspecies”
Seekers are fliers, Grounders are Cars, trucks, tanks, anything that drives rolls etc, Combiners are gestalt communal cybertronians, they share a telepathic mind and can experience others emotions pain etc, Titans are large cybertronians from
Billions of years ago who died in the War of the Primes, they were supermassive and only a few remain in existence including Trypticon, Metroplex, Nemesis, and Omega Supreme.
The small migrant organic populations on cybertron come from the age of expansion when Cybertron established a small number of colony worlds around the local systems, allowing any other lifeforms they found to integrate into the Assembly and move freely, as well as uplifting them with technological boons. These races were the Olors, Drusu, Yarloi, and a handful of abducted humans from earth, who over generations grew to live on cybertron in small pockets. These organic populations often lived in seperate districts of any given cybertronian city state or “polity” for their own needs and such, with the ongoing war, these populations became fractured and confused, nowhere being safe, some joined either the Autobots or Decepticons, while others stayed neutral in hiding.
On the matter of the Quintessons, it is rather unknown and even debated the nature of these enigmatic beings, but they are incredibly ancient, and seemingly long dead. During the earliest days of Cybertrons history, the Quintesson race arrived and colonized the planet for their own uses, making multiple cities, mechanical wonders, and even the Spacebridge nexus which was later found by Cybertronians millions of years later. During this time, Predacons, Maximals, and Insecticons roamed freely, the predecessor to Cybertronian life, and it would seem the Quintessons uplifted these creatures, using genetic tampering and editing, among other techniques, it is argued that this was the main reason Cybertronians or intelligent life on Cybertron even came to be. Abrutply, though, the Quintesson’s abandoned Cybertron in a hurry, leaving the world behind and vanishing from known space, the threat that scared them away is yet unknown.
Regarding Nova Prime, Nova Prime was at one point the leader of an armada of ships, and the prime of his day, he was immensely Xenophobic and wanted to find a new and cleaner form of energy production not relying on the natural resources of Cybertron, which he proposed would naturally dry up after enough time.
During the early BCE era, he and his ships arrived to Earth and attempted to subjugate it and build the prototype for a machine, a Star Harvester, this great device was reverse engineered from a lost Quintesson archive of knowledge, it would harvest energy from a planet’s sun slowly and make massive amounts of energy, but over time, kill a planet’s star.
Once word was heard of his plan, the polities of Iacon, Orius and Vos of the Assembly would forcefully interject in the “first great war” i previously mentioned, launching their own ships through the spacebridges and arriving to earth. A short months long struggle raged and eventually Nova Prime was cast out and his primeship removed, being exiled into space with supplies but never to return to his homeworld of Cybertron.
The Assembly’s forces cleaned earth of their debris and any evidence of their existence before leaving, taking some humans for experimentation and eventually integrating them, which is how a human population made its way to Cybertron.
Cybertronian colony worlds and colonial outposts;
Colonies proper are fully inhabited, fully developed offworld planets full of cybertronian life, entirely taken over. Colonial outpost are scantly inhabited worlds with only a small population of semi-consistent amounts, small populations of cybertronians, science outposts, or small cities or colonies, with various reasons as to why.
Colonies proper;
Aquatron
Caminus
Antilla
Paradron
Archon
Devisun
Colonial Outposts;
Velocitron
Nebulos-III
Nexus-VII
Prion-II
Arduria-II

Transformers AU i’m working on.
Basically its like, a post apocalypse, something like the 3rd impact happened on cybertron, causing widespread calamity. The Autobots and Decepticons emerged from the rubble, two former street gangs in the city of Iacon, now the largest powers in the dead sea, formerly Iacon, a megacity of humongous proportions.
The “God Wave” (the aformentioned 3rd impact like event) was caused by Primus, or rather, Cybertron itself, something like a reset, it wiped out a massive swath of the population, leaving only the sparkless, animated zombies who have an eternal thirst for Energon, the lifeblood of Cybertronians. Cybertron is now dormant again, whoever controls it, controls the fate of Cybertronian kind.
The major players are Optimus Prime, Megatron, Shockwave, Ultra Magnus, Soundwave, Perceptor, and Starscream all important to the future of Cybertronian Kind.
Optimus was a young but altruistic street gladiator, who inherited his mantle from his mentor, the previous Prime, Zeta Prime, Primes being a leader of the Autobots, who served to better their community outside the law, acting as vigilantes or manning humanitarian aid outside the view of the council who ruled cybertron, with so much responsibility thrusted onto him, Optimus has wisened into a powerful leader but also a powerful LEADER.Â
Megatron was the Dominus of the Decepticons, ex cons, political exiles, thugs, street addicts, anyone was welcome, they sought to overthrow the Council and rule Iacon for themselves in order to change the Cybertronian way forever to one of Peace through tyranny. Originally a miner, Megatron was fired from his job when a more powerful worker took his place, with no way to pay rent or keep himself afloat, he drifted to a Dark Energon addiction, Dark Energon being a illegal drug of corrupted and fermented energon which induces a death like high, visions, spasms, and pleasure overload. Found on the streets by the then Dominus of the Decepticons, Straxus. Straxus took his new pupil in, seeing strength and potential in him. After rearing him as the next Dominus, Megatron badly wounded Straxus and put him on life support forever, leaving his former master wheelchair bound. Now the Dominus, the God Wave hit as if to usher in his rule, killing many, but leaving a surprising number of his own gang, and, their rivals, the Autobots, alive.Â
Shockwave was a drug chemist, former scientist, and also before that, a petitioner for the seat of Councilor on the Cybertronian Imperium’s summit. After being beaten by a bot named Sentinel, he was almost politically assassinated, losing half of his head. Going into emergency surgery, he received a last ditch reconstructive procedure, being given a cycloptic head. His emotional cores were damaged, making him cold, callous, infinitely vindictive and ambitious. Taking up a fake identity, “Shockwave”, became a scientist under the Division of Advanced Sciences, consuming information at an unprecedented pace alongside his lab partner, Perceptor. Rising to the rank of Chief Scientist for the Division, he came to the ultimate conclusion Cybertron needed a reset, their people were flawed and broken, and needed to be perfected by his hand. After Perceptor discovered this, a fight ensued, and Perceptor was hospitalized, but Shockwave was stripped of his rank and thrown into prison. After a jailbreak of their members by the Decepticons, Shockwave was also taken in on the condition he’d use his skills for their benefit, creating bioweapons or new weapons systems, as well as concocting drugs for them. After the Godwave, Shockwave was vindicated for his beliefs and began to concoct plans for centuries to come, thinking long term rather than short term. In the short term, he serves megatron, not only by working the science aspect of the Decepticons, but also creating a supply of Dark Energon to enable Megatrons addiciton, one of hundreds of minor tweaks to enable long term success. In this way, he’s secured a place at the highest echelons of command and control in the gang.
Ultra Magnus was a powerful street cop before joining the Autobots, he ran various drug rings around his fingers, had his hands in the pockets of various smaller gangs with bribes, and kept his city safe outside and inside of the law, by having every aspect micromanaged to the atom, metaphorically. After nearly a millennium of service, his well hid tactics, bribes, and means were found out, and he was pushed from the force, his badge taken. After being discharged, he was given the dignity of only being stripped of his position, left shanix-less, he was destitute, then, an older bot with a good spark, Zeta Prime, approached him. He made Ultra Magnus an offer, use his skills, his contacts, to keep protecting the city, but, without the weight of the law on his back. He accepted, joining the cause, and serving as the head enforcer and a prevalent vigilante in the city, even after the God Wave.
Soundwave was one of the first Decepticons, back when it first formed in the arenas of Cybertron millenia ago inside the blackest pits of their original home city, Kaon in the south of Cybertron. He was a supreme gladiator, beating all he faced, until Megatronus, the originator of the Decepticon gang. Megatronus beat Soundwave fair and square, earning soundwave’s respect, Soundwave oathing himself to the Decepticons as a sign of newfound loyalty, and joining the highest echelons of leadership as the 2nd in command of the Decepticons. He and Megatronus became equals, and very close friends, until Straxus took Megatronus’s place, killing him in a usurpation by combat. Although earned by rite, Soundwave disdained Straxus, becoming almost entirely silent and reclusive for the time of Straxus’s rule. When Megatron joined the fold, named after Soundwave’s old friend, Soundwaves life returned to him, and he helped in rearing Megatron, not interfering as Megatron brutally comatose’d straxus, and took the seat of Dominus in an entirely unheard of way. Soundwave took a renewed interest, becoming the right hand man of Megatron, being a vital tactician in the Decepticons, and coordinating the war from The rear, without him, the Decepticons would fail. Â
Perceptor was the former lab partner of Shockwave, in his youth, he’d always adored the sciences, fervently and passionately learning everything he could, studying, interning, taking scholarships, mentorships, he treated Science like his god, but that fervency was offset by a good spark and a solid set of morals. When he learned of Shockwaves plans, a scuffle broke out, leading to a violent fight, in which Perceptor lost his voice and was hospitalized. Afterwards, Perceptor’s voice box was replaced with a rudimentary text to speech voicebox, giving him a distinctive monotone in his everyday life, which he could still pitch up and down. Despite his brilliance, he was doomed to fail, discharged by the very system he served for trying to stop an experimental rust weapon program originally propagated by Shockwave that the Council was interested in continuing. He decided immediately to seek ways to stop the weapons program, and the Autobots were that way. Joining up, just as the raid to stop the weapons finalization was about to be launched, the Godwave hit, putting everything in motion down. Now, Perceptor serves as a scientist for the Autobots, viewing it as his way to stop shockwave once and for all, before its too late.Â
Starscream was “born” of the upper crust, originally from the city of Vos in the western spires of Cybertron. He belonged to a highly influential family of aristocrats with ties to the Council. With this, he was hidden from the brutalities and darkness of the world, but also developed his lineages signature ambitious, backstabbing, and scheming mindset. He, alongside his siblings, skywarp and thundercracker, set out with a small mercenary army of “seekers” to overthrow his parents, just as the Godwave occured, wiping them away from him before his very eyes, leaving nothing but sparkless husks, which he put down. Now the lord of a hollowed kingdom, he had naught but a few thousand seekers to his lordship, and when a grounder, a bot named “Megatron”, came, he was intrigued. The deal was simple, join the Decepticons, and support them with air power, as well as their resources, and Megatron would secure Starscream a seat at the table, and a place in his coming Empire. Intrigued yet not satisfied, Starscream turned him away. Megatron, not coming home without glory, attacked Starscream, pummeling him until he yielded and submitted, in a way, Starscream respected the strength of Megatron, even if he despised being beaten. Nonetheless, Starscream, and Vos, joined the Decepticons, serving as a major resource hub and source of Air Power in the form of Fliers.

—Factions
[Decepticons]
The Decepticons as they are now were born from the Mine Workers’ Union, a loose coalition of miners, low level overseers, and laborers united under a shared cause. Initially, they were not a militant force but a peaceful organization, advocating for gradual reform through protests, negotiations, and grassroots efforts. They organized fundraisers, community aid programs, and public demonstrations, believing change could be achieved within the system.
For four years, the Mine Workers’ Union operated under the leadership of the Bot known then as D-16, a miner with a mind for strategy and a voice that stirred the sparks of thousands. But the Functionalist Council, viewing the movement as a threat, moved to suppress it. Crackdowns followed, peaceful protests were dispersed with violence. Strikes were met with mass arrests, and Union leaders were executed or vanished without a trace. Some were even cut down in the streets before they could even speak.
It was in the fires of this brutality that the movement radicalized. The Mine Workers’ Union died, and in its place, a new force emerged. The Decepticons. Their name was taken from a Quote by Megatronus Prime, whose rebellion had been crushed by the very system they now sought to destroy. D-16 cast aside his old designation and took up the name Megatron, a leader not of laborers, but of warriors. No longer would they beg, no longer would they kneel.
In the early years of the war, the Decepticons moved with terrifying speed. Military sites, cities, fortresses, and weapons depots fell into their hands, stripped clean and repurposed for their growing regime. The Cybertronian Guard Corps, the Council’s military apparatus, was shattered in the opening campaigns, their remnants either absorbed or wiped out.
The Decepticons became a highly disciplined, militarized autocracy, their hierarchy built on competence, ambition, and ruthless efficiency. At the top sat Emperor Megatron, supreme in authority, his rule enforced by a brutal chain of command. Beneath him, the Decepticon war machine took shape.
The Decepticons were no longer a rebellion. They were a regime.
[Autobots]
The Autobots emerged from the ruins of the Cybertronian Guard Corps and the shattered remnants of the Functionalist Council’s scattered populations across their remaining territories, though they were never a true continuation of either. In the war’s earliest days, before the movement had even taken a name, its ranks were filled with former officers, city enforcers, and defenders of the old order, those who had once fought to uphold a system now reduced to dust, and now led a new one.
Figures like Ultra Magnus, Kup, Hound, and Ironhide led the first resistance efforts, rallying those unwilling to bow to Decepticon rule. What began as desperate skirmishes against a superior force soon hardened into a war of survival. Their stronghold became Iacon, the largest city on Cybertron and the heart of its pre-war governance. From there, they fortified, reinforced, and held the Decepticons at bay, dragging the war into an endless attritional struggle, where neither side could gain a true decisive advantage.
But the Autobots were never a unified army in the way the Decepticons were. At their head stood Optimus Prime, the last Prime, carrying a name that still held power in the sparks of many. But leadership was never simple. Many within the Autobot ranks disagreed with his ideals, seeing his belief in peace and unity as naĂŻve, an outdated dream in a war that demanded nothing less than total victory.
Gradually, splinter groups formed. Some saw Optimus as the only true path forward and followed his command without question. Others, hardened by loss and betrayal, chose their own leaders, operating in semi-independent warbands, engaging in partisan warfare, sabotaging Decepticon infrastructure, and striking supply lines without mercy.
This fragmented structure made the Autobots adaptable, able to strike from the shadows, vanish into the ruins, and resurface elsewhere. But it also left them vulnerable. While the Decepticons expanded, consolidating territory and crushing dissent, the Autobots were forced into retreat, their domain shrinking with every passing cycle. Iacon remained their stronghold, but beyond its walls, countless outposts, hidden bases, and underground enclaves served as staging grounds for hit-and-run strikes, deep infiltrations, and last stands.
They could not match the Decepticons in numbers or sheer firepower, but their survival depended on resilience, ingenuity, and sheer stubbornness. Even in their weakest moments, when all seemed lost, the Autobots refused to fall, for them, the war was not just about conquest or revenge, it was about endurance. About outlasting the storm. About ensuring that, no matter how dark the future seemed, Cybertron would not belong to the Decepticons.
[Wreckers]
The Wreckers are less a unit and more a legend, a death squadron, a band of killers too unruly for the Autobots but too useful to cast aside. They are composed of ex-Guard soldiers, former Autobot loyalists, court-martialed prisoners, arsonists, saboteurs, insubordinate commandos, and war-hardened volunteers, the ones who have seen the worst of the war and come out the other side with nothing left to lose. Their purpose is singular and brutal: kill as many Decepticons as possible.
Led by Springer, the Wreckers officially operate outside the Autobot chain of command. They are an independent force, separate from Optimus Prime’s leadership, often working on the fringes of the war, taking on the missions no sane soldier would accept and no Autobot leader would approve. They strike where the Decepticons least expect, hit supply lines, fortresses, shipyards, and high-value targets deep behind enemy lines. To them, victory isn’t about honor, glory, or ideals, it’s about attrition, annihilation, and the cold, simple math of warfare.
Though the Wreckers claim independence, in reality, they have gradually become the Autobots’ unofficial special forces, called upon when the war demands a decisive, brutal solution. When the Autobots need a general executed, a fortress toppled, or a Decepticon battalion wiped from existence, the Wreckers are sent in.
The Autobots, particularly Optimus Prime, tolerate them but do not condone them. The Wreckers don’t fight for a better Cybertron, they fight because it’s the only thing left they know how to do. They aren’t here to restore a golden age, to rebuild, to dream of peace. They are here to break Decepticons, to drown the enemy in a tide of fire, shrapnel, and bodies. They believe in no surrender, and no retreat.
Unlike conventional Autobot units, the Wreckers don’t retreat. They don’t regroup, they don’t surrender, and they don’t take prisoners. When a Wrecker is deployed, they fight until the job is done or until they are dead.
And more often than not, they die.
The Wreckers have an abysmal survival rate, with entire generations of their ranks being wiped out over the course of the war, only to be replaced by new blood, fresh warriors burned out, broken, or simply too violent to fit anywhere else. Their name carries infamy, even among the Autobots. Some call them heroes, others monsters, but one thing is certain: If a Wrecker comes knocking, someone is going to die.
[Insecticons]
The Insecticons are an enigma, an ancient and insular strain of Cybertronian life that predates the war, predates the Decepticons, and, according to some, predates recorded history itself. Their origins are uncertain, some believe they emerged from Cybertron’s deepest catacombs, evolving separately from the rest of most Cybertronian flora and fauna, while others suspect they were a subspecies of Predacon, remnants that managed to endure and thrive underground. Whatever the truth, the Insecticons lived apart from society, brooding in their underground nests, largely uninterested in the affairs of the greater world.
That changed when Shockwave took an interest.
During the pre-war period, Shockwave sought to study and manipulate the Insecticons, conducting a series of genetic and neurological experiments to establish direct communication with their hive minds. His efforts bore fruit when he successfully reached the Insecticon Queens, unlocking their ability to engage in higher reasoning and complex strategy. What began as a scientific breakthrough was quickly corrupted by the war, as Megatron seized the opportunity to bend this new force to his will.
In exchange for their continued existence, the Insecticon hives were ordered to tithe 50% of their hatchlings to the Decepticon war machine. These offspring were press-ganged into military service, either as Auxiliary troops, shocktroopers, or relegated to more menial roles as labor drones, corpse scavengers, and waste processors. The remaining Insecticons were allowed to exist in relative peace, their nests undisturbed so long as they continued to provide bodies for the war effort.
But peace was an illusion.
The Insecticons were never truly considered Decepticons—they were seen as useful but expendable, a resource rather than equals. They were even branded with an official insignia, a mark of ownership rather than allegiance. In the eyes of the Decepticon hierarchy, the hives were little more than livestock, their breeding cycles strictly monitored, their numbers culled when necessary to prevent rebellion.
[Mercenaries]
Not a faction in any traditional sense, Mercenaries are a fractured, ever-shifting collection of roving warbands, private military contractors, bounty hunters, assassins, and outright pirates. They operate on one universal principle: payment in full. They owe allegiance to no cause, no ideology, no leader, only to profit.
To the Autobots, they are opportunists, selling their firepower to the highest bidder without care for the consequences. To the Decepticons, they are a necessary evil, used when victory demands discretion, deniability, or brutality that even they hesitate to unleash. Some mercenaries fight out of pragmatism, others out of bloodlust, but most simply because war pays well.
The galaxy at large often lumps all mercenaries under a singular name: the Blackjaws. This infamous mercenary syndicate, one of the largest and most organized, acts as a loose coalition of smaller warbands, free agents, and pirate crews, forming a tangled web of shifting alliances, betrayals, and contracts. Though not a singular force, the Blackjaws serve as a hub, a middleman that connects buyers to killers, suppliers to soldiers, and war to those willing to profit from it.
Beyond them, mercenaries are as diverse as Cybertron itself. Some operate as professional, disciplined soldiers of fortune; others are little more than lawless raiders, willing to torch cities and slaughter civilians for the right price. Some demand strict contracts and honor-bound agreements, while others take payment in advance and leave the job half-finished.
Despite their differences in philosophy, tactics, and morality, all mercenaries share one unifying truth: war is business. It doesn't matter who wins or loses, who’s right or wrong, who fights or who falls, so long as there is conflict, there is profit, in a war that seems to have no end, the mercenaries thrive.
—Setting history
It is the Age of Turmoil. The Great War has raged for eight million years. Cybertron is in ruin. The once mighty Functionalist Council is all but abolished, destroyed, forgotten.
[Ancient Era]
Before all things were made, the great Primus, the creator, waged an endless war against his natural predator, his hunter, Unicron. Their battles set the cosmos alight and shattered worlds.
All at once, Unicron struck true. With a single, ruinous blow, he wounded Primus, sending him spiraling into a wormhole, an uncharted abyss, and a blessing in disguise that tore him away from his enemy. For the first time, Unicron was absent, and in that brief moment of reprieve, Primus acted. He folded in on himself, reshaping his form, becoming a lifeless shell, a planet, a fortress, a place to rebuild, prepare, and wait. Then he slept.
From the void came the “Architects”, the Quintessons. Their black ships swallowed the skies, blotting out the light of Cybertron’s newborn suns. They landed upon the barren, primordial Cybertron, and, with cold efficiency, carved civilization into its surface. Monolithic cities rose from barren land. Towering structures, labyrinthine monoliths, sprawling cities. Wonders were erected that would last forever, weathering even entropy itself.
For eighteen thousand years, the Quintessons ruled Cybertron. Then, without warning, they fled. Their ships fled, Their orbital defenses fell silent. Their machines were left to rust. No war, no rebellion, only absence.
The void of life on cybertron did not stay empty for long.
The first intelligence to emerge from Cybertron’s depths was not Cybertronian. They were the Predaconians. Primitive, but aware, a Tribal people in all respects. They hunted in packs, warred over territory, lived, and died under the blue sky.
Yet, in their bloodied struggle, there rose one, a warrior-king, whose name is now lost to history, a conqueror who, for a time, united the warring Tribes beneath his clawed hand. Under his rule, the Predacons flourished, carving a kingdom from the lands, and bringing about an era of tenuous peace.
For a time, there were many living in harmony. Then, they were few. Natural disasters tore through their numbers. The planet swallowed them whole. Now only their bones remain, scattered across the wastelands in vast boneyards and buried gravesites, silent reminders of a species that once ruled but could not endure the test of time.
[Early Era]
Fifteen million years passed. Cybertron did not remain barren of life. From its surface, new life emerged, Cybertronians.
They did not crawl, nor stumble, nor wander in ignorance. They were strong. Born warriors. They budded from the planet itself, formed by the metal and the energy that ran through it. And where one rose, many followed. Social by nature, they gathered into clans, and from those clans, leaders arose. Their title was Prime, a word that would come to define honor, authority, and lineage, an eternal word, one that would always come to represent the best and greatest of Cybertronian kind.
The strongest of these clans grew, forming powerful Houses, noble lines of warriors, strategists, and lords. House Kaon, House Vos, House Iacon, House Polyhex, House Quintus, House Pax, House Onyx, House Praxus, House Tarn, and House Damaxus. Each commanded armies. Each fought for dominance. The old Quintesson cities, now abandoned ruins of the ages past, became their battlegrounds and new territories. They learned to read the language of the Quintessons and made it their own, and learned to reverse-engineer the wonders left behind by the Ancients.
For millions of years, the Houses warred. Power shifted, new cities rose. Iacon, Vos, Kaon, monuments to conquest and progress. Then, gradually, the wars ended. The Prime bloodlines, now rulers of the world's most powerful houses, forged an uneasy truce. A new government was formed, a coalition of the Houses, The Functionalist Council.
At first, it was a coalition of rulers. Then it became something else. Feudal power faded, replaced by a machine of bureaucracy and law. The Functionalist Council was not a democracy, nor a monarchy, it was an oligarchy. A system where caste and function determined worth, succor and place.
And in time, it rotted from within.
Corruption took hold. Bureaucrats grew complacent. Progress stagnated. Cities became overcrowded. Mining operations grew unchecked, stripping the planet’s lifeblood to fuel industry. Shortages led to riots, famine, and war.
Megatronus Prime, one of the last original, true Primes, saw the decay for what it was. He rebelled. His insurrection was swift, brutal. He led armies against the council, but he failed. The rebellion was crushed. Prima, the Council’s figurehead and former friend, oversaw his execution personally.
His followers were punished, exiled, or worse. Kaon, once a noble city of high standing and proud tradition, was censured, stripped of status, its people relegated to the lowest class, lower than Dregs.
[Late Era]
Ten million years after The Kaonite Rebellion, Cybertron stood at the edge of collapse.
The war never truly ended. It only changed. The council still ruled, but it ruled over stagnation and fetid rot. The Extrasolar Colonies drifted from Cybertron’s grip. The military grew bloated and complacent.
And in the deepest pits of Kaon, a miner was born. Designation D-16. He knew nothing but the mines, the work, the feeling of servitude to a government that did not see him as a person. He learned to write poetry, philosophy, words of anger and revolution. And in time, he found a friend, Orion Pax.
Unlike D-16, Orion Pax was privileged. He had a name, not a designation. A student, a scholar, a believer in the old faith. They met during a religious census, when Orion was tasked with cataloging the lower castes. What should have been a brief exchange became something more. A bond.
D-16 spoke. Orion listened.
At first, the revolutions created by D-16 were peaceful. Protests, strikes. The Mine Workers Union was born, its crest taken from Megatronus Prime’s sigil, an ancient tribal mask of House Kaon, a vestige of what had been lost to time.
But the Council did not listen to reason. When the protests turned into riots, they answered with violence. The Mine Workers’ Union became the Decepticons, a name taken from the words of the fallen Prime Megatronus: "If speaking the truth is deception, then we are gladly guilty.”
D-16 cast off his number and took a name.
Megatron.
Orion followed at first, proudly wearing the sigil of the Decepticons. But when Megatron turned to violence, when revolution became assassination, when the streets ran with the energon of the guilty and the innocent alike, Orion left in horror of what his friend had become.
Megatron did not stop, he vowed to never stop.
[War Era]
The Great War did not begin with a battle. It began with a massacre.
The Cybertronian Guard Corps was unprepared, undertrained, and complacent. When the Decepticons struck, their advance was unstoppable. Major Cities fell in days. Prisons emptied as the oppressed joined their ranks. The council, for all its might, was powerless.
Meanwhile, in the colonies, uprisings of Decepticon sympathizers overthrew and battled the local Guard garrisons. Colonies cut off from Cybertron by the war became embroiled in civil conflict due to the lack of support from Cybertron's supply chain. Total chaos filled even the stars.
Orion Pax, once a student, now a soldier, a Lieutenant, stood against them. For centuries, the war was largely a series of skirmishes, ambushes, brutal engagements fought on the ruins of a sundered world.
Then, the council fell. Their escape shuttle was shot down during the First Siege of Iacon when they attempted to flee the battle. With their death, the Autobots were born, led by former Guard officers like Kup, Ultra Magnus, Hound, among others.
In the fires of battle, Orion Pax was chosen. The Matrix of Leadership passed to him, not by politics, not by ceremony, but by something greater. For his deeds as a leader, and as a hero, he was rewarded with a shard of the spark of primus himself to carry forever.
He became Optimus Prime, the last Prime.
And now, the war rages on.
