"This level mixes the episode 1 style from Ult. Doom with the Doom 2 bestiary and the modern features of UZDoom and UDMF. It's a relatively easy level and there is no Super Shotgun. I had a really good time building this level and I hope you can see what I tried to accomplish.
The levels has been tested by a couple of good people (@Biodegradable and @Helm) but there might be more bugs lurking, so please report any that you find. All other kinds of feedback welcome of course."

the acolyte/archvile/warlock trio set by TDA dlc is interesting because it reminds me of ideas i had for an archvile/summoner/healer demon trio
so i expect one of them will be a summoner, the other will have a healer role
because i can't imagine resurrection to return
also surprised prowlers, gargoyles and baalgars didn't return

Something i saw it brought up on r/Doom was whether or not the classic flashbacks in TDA Revelations will make classic Doomguy slow just to show how powerfull he got as the Slayer
sounds a bit lame but also ironic for a lot of reasons:
The Slayer saga in general exists as a response to how id were almost about to make the Doom 4.10 game
Classic Doomguy's speed is what led to memes and copypastas about how strong he is, WHICH were some of the fan elements that led to the Slayer (even if you bring up stuff like the wall run glitch not counting or ALWAYS_RUN not being default movement and it being an exploit in the config file or whatever)
there's people that want to try the demo of Doom 4 and they'd at the very least want it as its own self contained thing and not as sliced up segments showing up in the Slayer saga (or even if somehow reworked as a Doom 3 sequel or Eternal spin-off with ARC soldiers, guess it depends on how it can be done i guess)
