Hello I am Echo! I use Seeker/Seekerself, Bot/Botself, Cassette/Cassetteself, Cyber/Cyberself and they/them pronouns.

I am a fictionkin and therian, I made this blog mainly to talk about my alterhuman experience, specifically fictionkin/Cybertroniankin [thus the name of this blog, Alter from alterhuman and Spark for being Cybertronian].

This blog is a safe space for any alterhumans!! If you have questions about alterhumanity or need some advice you can send an ask and I will answer to the best of my abilities. Or if you just want to chat you can also send an ask or DM me!

I want to use this as an excuse to talk about coping mechanisms as a fictionkin

✧ I have noticed that my shifts are stronger and more common when I'm in a bad mental state. I'm pretty sure this is my past life stepping in to reassure me, remind me who I am. And I am Starscream, who happens to have a lot of experience in being hated, abused, and literally fighting a war. Having strong mental shifts helps me process that stuff because I can use past experiences to protect myself, and physically shifts help me ground myself in reality and have more physical control over impulses.

Communication Card Requests

I've been considering doing some fun stuff like moodboards, stimboards, userboxes ect. Except there are already so many awsome people in the community doing that....

So I was thinking, maybe I could make communication cards?

I'm autistic and semi-nonverbal myself and I've been thinking of getting some communication cards anyway so it would be cool if I could also make some for other people!

These would just have to be the designs, not physical copies, so you'd have to print and laminate them yourself, but they'll also be completely free.

The target audience of these are alterhumans/nonhumans and neurodivergent people but anyone is welcome to request!

I'm probably only going to take a couple requests at a time, and close my askbox until I'm finished.

How To Request:

I'll be taking in reqs via my askbox, here are some things to consider when requesting:

✦ what colour palette do you want?

✦ what character/object/being would you want the cards to feature? [THESE WILL ALL HAVE TO BE PRE-EXISTING PHOTOS, sadly I won't be able to hand draw all of them as I'm struggling with my art]

✦ do you want a specific theme?

✦ what font would you like? [Since these are communication cards keep in mind that the font should be readable]

✦ any other details?

You're welcome to specify as much as you want! Just keep on mind that if you don't give me enough info I will fill in the blanks to the best of my ability.
