This poll is referring specifically to roads that are part of the US Interstate Highway System, not just any numbered highways.
US residents: how do you (or people in your area) commonly refer to the local INTERSTATE HIGHWAY(S)? Assume this is casual conversation among people familiar with the area (not formal/professional/broadcast speech)
Haven't lived in USA or don't live near an interstate enough to talk about it
"Interstate Number" (e.g., "Today traffic sucked on Interstate Seven")
"THE I-Number" (e.g., "Today traffic sucked on the I-Seven")
"I-Number" (e.g., "Today traffic sucked on I-Seven")
"THE Number" (e.g., "Today traffic sucked on the Seven")
"Number" (e.g., "Today traffic sucked on Seven")
Some other phrase/name I will explain
"Interstate Seven" was used as an example because it does not exist.
As a swiftie, today I am REALLY understanding why people hate us. Not every criticism of this woman is an attack on you or feminism. Not every negative review on The Life Of A Showgirl is by someone who hates Taylor Swift. Not every person going online saying the album is bad means ill of you or Taylor.
Please close tumblr or twitter or whatever and enjoy the album if this is bothering you so much. If you cannot handle criticism of the art you enjoy, then don’t engage with it!
she is exhausting (affectionate)
wi$h li$t: imagine if our life was just us and our kids and the world left our family alone and we got to settle down like damn that would be so nice
the life of a showgirl: bitch did i fucking say i was retiring

I don’t think there’s ever been a more insane opening three track run like The Fate of Ophelia > Elizabeth Taylor > Opalite
“babe i would trade the cartier for someone to trust (just kidding)” oh paper rings found dead in a ditch
this will not be well received but i am not in love with the sabrina carpenterization of taylor swift
for me it’s just like . the “im so fucking wet and horny all the time OMFG” is something i seek out sabrina for and associate w/ her music. it’s never been taylors thing, she always goes for subtle and analogies so for her to come out w/ all this right on the heels of man’s best friend esp after the folklore-ttpd album run that relied on a lot of literacy and deeper lyricism feels like she’s partly doing an imitation of sabrina for some reason . it’s not necessarily a criticism and i don’t hate this album by any means, it’s a fun album 🫣
Real shit
sometimes someone will casually mention using chatgpt or some other generative ai thing and I can actually feel the little

Saw someone online recently be genuinely annoyed that Achilles Achilles' Heel was in fact his heel. They were like "what a cliché!" And it took 3 separate people to make them understand that this is where the term originated.
I love Taylor Swift (obviously) and I have been a swiftie in swiftie spaces sind 2008 but to be honest, being a swiftie in current times is too overwhelming to me at this point. It's literally overstimulating for me. The stress factor is so much higher than the fun factor for some reason.
everything is a headline, everything is an easter egg, everything is controversy, everything is an event, everything is a countdown, everything is something new, everything is limited, everything is sold out
It's so important to acknowledge the very real and sometimes truly horrible failings of the healthcare profession and the pharmaceutical industry while never ever ever letting them drive us into the arms of pseudoscientific bullshit. This is something I feel really strongly about.
moms are like Btw want to hear about this local news story that will make you fear for your life before you go out

Two stunning winners ✨️
I still think that my favorite urban legend/folklore fact is that there are certain areas in New Orleans where you cannot get a taxi late at night not because it isn’t safe, but because taxi companies have had recurring problems of picking up ghosts in those areas who are not aware that they are dead and disappearing from the cab before reaching the destination and therefore stiffing the driver on the fare causing a loss for the company.
An occupational hazard of cab driving I had not previously considered
I love that the nola problem here is not “ghosts in my taxi cab,” but “ghosts are FUCKING BROKE DEAD BASTARDS & I GOT BILLS”
Horror is when ghosts get into cabs and scare drivers Magical realism is when cab companies have to develop policies to prevent ghastly fare-theft
In a book about the tsunami in Japan in 2011, the writer talked about how there was a huge increase in reports of ghostly activity. Apparently in Japan treating ghosts rudely is basically considered the stupidest thing you could possibly do. For months after the tsunami, taxi drivers would pick up a passenger only to have them give an address in one of the devastated areas. The cab driver often looked up halfway to the destination to find their fare had disappeared. Not wanting to be impolite to the person (even if they were dead) they’d drive to the address, open the door to let them out, then drive away.
