anyway. onto better things

tbh i think they both contributed to the success for different reasons! the song wouldn’t exist without sam in the first place and i think because of him it was received very well with the indieheads which made it seem like a ‘cool’ collaboration rather than just something forced by the record label. olivia really elevated it with her verse and her blowing up around the same time helped without a doubt. also think the world was yearning for a male/female collab, especially from different genres!! sam is very loved and olivia is very loved so it just worked so well.
