But I decided to test something else someone had mentioned. The battle with Xigbar has different starting dialogue when you die and retry. When you defeat Dark Riku first and leave him as the last one, he starts his fight with ‘Let’s make this interesting!’

If you die after that and retry, he starts the match instead with ‘Alright, the hero thinks he’s ready now. Let’s make this interesting!’ This seriously gives me vibes of him knowing you’ve died and come back and I love it.

The true humor in the Yeetus Vanitas scene stems from how fucking fast he flies.

since it’s late i decided to just eyeball the distance and the time it took for vanitas to travel from sully to the door. as you can see by this diagram:

i determined that it takes approx 0.5 seconds for vanitas to travel from sully to the door, which is about 3 yeetuses apart (1 yeetus is vaintas’ height). now assuming vanitas starts the yeet at an initial velocity of 0, we have everything we need to calculate his final velocity and constant acceleration.

using the kinematic equations i concluded that vanitas travels at a rate of 24 yeetus/s^2 with a final velocity of 12 yeetus/s. 

and since we officially know Sora’s height from the word of god (it’s 160 cm), and Sora and Vanitas have the same height, i determined:

vanitas final velocity @ door = 19.6 m/s = 43.8 mph = 70.6 kph

yeet acceleration = 38.4 m/s^2 = 85.9 mph/s = 138.2 kph/s
