Where married women need their husbands’ permission to be issued a passport and their permission to leave the country. Where only men have the right to end a marriage and if women want that right they have to specify it before the wedding and only if their future spouse agrees they have the right of asking for a divorce.
The Islamic Republic is a government where boys as young as 18 have to spend 2+ years in mandatory military service in terrible and dangerous conditions. (This may also then affect their chances of going to certain countries because some of the places where these men have to service have been banned by those countries. These men have no choice in where they service and for whom but their lives are altered forever anyway.)
The Islamic Republic is a government where bigamy is legal for men but there is a possibility that women who cheat on their husbands get sentenced to be stoned to death.
The Islamic Republic is a government that sides with Putin and Russian on the Ukrainian war.
The Islamic Republic is a government whose president went on an international interview and claimed that are no homosexuals in Iran (he stayed president for 8 years). The same government that punishes homosexuals by imprisoning them, flogging them and sometimes killing them (very recently two lesbian women were hanged by IRI)
The Islamic Republic is a government where people get flogged and whipped and fined for drinking alcohol.
The Islamic Republic is a government who has passed laws that indicate that only girl above 16 and boys above 18 are legally allowed to get married. However because of their incompetency, over 130,000 girls and 120 boys all under the age of 15 have gotten married only in the last 5 years. About 800 children born in the first six months of last year were born from mothers that were 10-14 years old.

The Islamic Republic is a government that has destroyed almost all of Iran’s historical monuments with their mismanagement and neglect. A country with thousands of years of culture and civilisation that has barely anything to show for it.

The Islamic Republic is a government who refused to import foreign vaccination, even in the peak of the pandemic, an action that in turn led to the demise of hundreds of Iranian people.
The Islamic Republic is a government where people born from Muslim parents’ cannot change their religion legally. The legal repercussion vary but can be as grave as the death penalty by being hanged.
The Islamic Republic is a government where Twitter, Facebook, Telegram, Tumblr and Youtube have been blocked for years but almost all its politicians have active Twitter accounts. (In the past week Instagram, WhatsApp, and even LinkedIn and GOOGLE have been blocked)
The Islamic Republic is a government that has let so many of it people go hungry, in a country that has every kind of wealth. It has starved so many of its people, let so many of them go without water not because of poverty but because of cruelty.
The Islamic Republic is a government that started its reign of terror with the promise of freedom of choice and freedom of speech (at the beginning of the revolution even hijab wasn’t mandatory.) who has since then killed, imprisoned, beaten and silenced its innocent people. Iranians have been suffering for 43 years.
It is time for an end. It is time for justice.
