I absolutely adore adding small details and "blemishes" to my real Tsubomi design. Maybe she's taller than some of the boys. Though her hair is silky and glossy, it hasn't been cut in a while and has some unruly strands. Short and well-filed nails still betray a stubborn habit to chew on them when things get too bad. Her gaze is serious. Her outwards expression is more grim than ladylike the more you pay attention to it. It makes her feel more like a real 14 year old girl with her own goals and struggles, while also emphasizing how harsh and absurd is the ideal of perfection that Salt Mid forces upon her.

Specifically, Doctors Without Borders rarely makes political statements because doing so can jeopardize their ability to work in as many places as possible (including places controlled by incredibly shitty governments), and their one singular goal is to provide medical care wherever it's needed. They are extremely practical-minded as an organization and will, regardless of members' personal beliefs, avoid potentially offending people who have the ability to make their work more difficult/impossible. All they care about is getting doctors to the people who need the doctors. If they're doing this, it's because providing medical care in Palestine has become so difficult that calling on the global community for action gives them better odds of being able to do their jobs than avoiding offense to the Israeli government, possibly because offending the Israeli government can no longer make the situation worse than it already is.

I like the trend in mp100 fanart of Mob liking frogs & I think its good for the boy to have a special interest. But also I'm pretty sure it is just based on that one omake of him as a little kid with a froggy umbrella. It reminds me of that sort of thing where you have a really strong interest as a child so all of the adults in your family get gifts based on that thing but over time you lose interest but also don't communicate clearly with any of them so they just keep getting you that stuff. I like to imagine Mob just getting frog-themed shirts and school planners etc for every birthday. After the Confession Arc and a month or two out from his next birthday he goes up to his parents looks them both in the eye dead-serious and tells them "I think axolotls are cooler than frogs." And as far as his mom and dad know this is the biggest breakthrough they've had with their boy in years and they have to go announce it on Facebook to the whole extended family.
