I think some folks fall into this trap where they feel like they need a Good Logical Reason to dislike a person, and so they construct elaborate justifications for how the people they dislike are actually Bad People in some way, which then serves as a justification for treating them poorly.

You've gotta come to terms with the fact that sometimes you simply won't like some people, and that's not necessarily because they're doing anything wrong, and the proper adult response is to be as polite to them as you would to anyone else and try to have as little to do with them as you politely can.
