Your inability to understand how lighting works is not the same as whitewashing. News flash, the colors are all brighter now, so of course stuffâs going to look lighter. Grow up or shut up.
Hahahhaha Bro. Okay I'm gonna show you what I did to the image. Also seriously you cannot look at volume 3 Sun's eyes and compare them to volume 4 or 5. I mean if you want to believe that, go for it. But "that's not how lighting works" is the lamest attempt at trying to handwave the change in colors I have ever seen and I see it way too much.
So, letâs take this UNEDITED screenshot of Sun from volume 3:
Now, it does look a little darker than youâd expect, with him being out in bright sunlight, but this was my reference photo.Â
Now letâs look at the screenshot I used of Sun from volume 6:
Funny that theyâre both in the daytime, that Sunâs hair is actually DARKER in the volume 6 photo, yet their eyes and skintone donât look the same.
Okay, sure, letâs run with your explanation of lighting. Iâll find a brighter image of Sun from vol 3, again, unedited:
So, the skintone looks pretty similar in this case because of how bright the light is on Sunâs skin in the tournament scene. Because the arena is made to be like a desert oasis.
If we take, say, this shot of Sun from vol 4:
Same sort of lighting, yet doesnât he look a little paler to you?
Regardless of whether you think that the SKINTONE is because of âlightingâ or in my case, because they literally changed its color, youâre seriously sitting here and telling me THESE EYES:
Are the SAME COLOR as THESE eyes??????
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to break this down <3 If youâre still in denial, then....
