2017 declutter and cleaning list:
- delete apps, pics and songs u dont need on ur phone anymore - do the same thing to ur computer - go through your closet, ask yourself: “does this still fit”, and “would i want this if i were to see it in the store”, if the answer is no, throw it away, or better yet, donate them - fold all ur clothes again and organise them by type (loose tops, tight tops, skirts, jeans, etc.) - delete unnecessary emails and messages - throw away expired makeup that ur still using (im so guilty of this, fuck) - get rid of the receipts in ur wallet and reorganise ur cash in value order - throw away the empty snack bar packets that are sitting at the bottom of ur handbag - meditate, get that stress out of your head - wash all ur makeup brushes and make sure theres no bit of makeup left on them - get rid of all the scrap papers and any other junk on ur desk and in your drawers, im sure u wont need that A+ maths test u got in 5th grade - organise your chargers and diy your own charger station to store them - keep a small bin near your desk so u wont just leave trash on it - cut off toxic people, u dont need that kind negativity in ur life. its bad for ur skin - spray some windex on ur mirror and window and wipe that shit clean - change ur bedsheets and pillow cases, open the windows, vacuum ur room and spray some air freshener

quizlet.com if you need a study tool. It’s very efficient in it’s use of flash cards and quizzes/tests and is helpful if you want to remember key things about certain topics.
mendeley.com for research papers. It’s extremely helpful if you want more organized papers and an easier way to write down your ideas and even share ideas with other students if you choose to.
sleepyti.me if you need to calculate when you should fall asleep/when you should wake up.
hemingwayapp.com to break down your essays and give you tips on proper word usage, sentence structure, etc.
duolingo.com to help you learn the basics of a foreign language.
slader.com to view the solutions to your textbook questions for free.

Mornings suck but
Grab a coffee, eat some nice food, take a warm, comfortable shower and listen to music. Make a list of things due today, make a list of non academic things to do today, complete these tasks. Make a list of things you will (most likely) have to do in the afternoon. Pick the ‘evening reading’ book in the morning. Brush your teeth. Remember to fill up your water bottle. Remember to bring your phone, wallet, keys and earphones. Remember to bring a sweater and tissues. Keep deodorant in your bag. Remember to put deodorant on in the morning. Check that your laptop is fully charged. If it’s not, put your charger in your bag. Bring a phone charger. These are the small reminders to keep you organised in the morning.
Having a hard time today with everything I have going on but I really hope i do well in my history exam on Tuesday!!

Study tips for lazy people, let's be real
I’m not saying you’re lazy but you’re human and you wear out quickly.
1. Take good notes the first time around. I see some people say rewriting them is a good way to memorize but let’s be honest, you’re not going to do that. Instead bite the bullet and do what you can the first time so you can read them later. It’s also just more time efficient. And don’t ask other people for notes, they’re not you and notes need to be personal to be effective. So don’t skip class too much.
2. You don’t need 100 different highlighters to be successful (but you can if you want). The key is keeping it succinct. Write down what your teacher says and find it later in the book. Read those passages a couple of times in your head and out loud to yourself to commit the info to memory. Honestly just highlight the key words so that when you see it on the test, the info connected to it floods back.
3. Use your phone to organize your shit. You always have it with you. God knows you ain’t gonna buy multi colored sticky notes and a $30 planner. And you might forget your textbooks and planner but not your phone.
4. Make a reasonable to do list you KNOW deep in your soul you can commit to. It’s a better motivator to see stuff get done than to see stuff not get done.
5. Try to get stuff done before noon. That’s my best advice. Early rise and early done makes you feel accomplished even if all you’ve done is read a few pages. This is probably the best time management advice I ever received in my life.
6. Don’t cram but if you have to get up and walk around to keep yourself energized.
7. Try to find a way to keep calm. You’re most likely not the type to plan every aspect down to the molecule or the type to be on top of everything. Things go awry, that’s just life. Find a way to fix your perspective on setbacks and failures so that it doesn’t ruin your future vision. This is personal so I can’t help you too much there.

So I know this is super late but I’ve finally gotten around to posting my May spread in my bullet journal. I feel like I kind of neglected using towards the end of the month because of exams and stress, hence the crappy drawings etc. but I’m going to make sure I use it fully this month because honestly it the only thing keeping my life together right and stopping me exploding into chaos and breakdown. As per usual all the recipes and quotes you see are my own and you even get he first page of June ;)
