an explanation
hey everyone,
jo here ā itās been quite some time since iāve posted on here. just wanted to update you all on my life (though i reckon thereās not too much to tell you all). keep on reading under the cut if you want to :)
I finished GCSEs in June last year. Shortly afterwards, I slowly disappeared (stopped posting?) from the studyblr and studygram community, although Iām not sure if anyone has even noticed, honestly. The reasons why I left are unimportant now, but I felt like I didnāt enjoy posting about my studies anymore; I no longer had the passion for studying as I once did. And I felt terrible posting online about being motivated/productive when truly, I wasnāt.
Iāve now started IB, and my personal life hasnāt been the best since Iām often too busy to take care of myself. I find myself missing the studyblr community every once in a while, my heart void of the cozy community and friends Iāve made here. But Iāve refrained from coming back here (until now) so I wouldnāt waste my time when I could be studying.
As I write this Iām probably at one of my lowest points in the last few years (mentally). Iāve just gotten bad news with respect to school (Extended Essay allocations didnāt go as planned) and Iām still as much of a perfectionist about grades and assignments.
I think I miss the studyblr community. I might restart this account, but god knows I have no time for it. If anything, I might start blogging about my college application journey (#appblr?) since Iām halfway through junior year of high school now. Perhaps occasionally post studyspo pictures like I used to, too.
If weāve once talked, whether on tumblr or instagram, and weāve lost touch since, take this as my apology: itās my fault we drifted apart. If youād still like to talk to me, or if youāre still interested in my study journey/my life, feel free to DM me here (through my inbox) or on instagramĀ (iāve deleted my studygram for now).
