a wearable muslin I did of the Maison Fauvre Rosalie dress. I shortened it quite bit to make it leas frumpy and took in quite a bit at the back waist but the fit is still only so-so. I’ll likely use the fabric I had planned for the final version on something else.

the pattern is Butterick B7071 view D. It’s a rerelease of a 1960s blouse and I really like the simple sleeve, the darts at the waist and bust, and the opportunity to play with contrast at the collar. I added interfacing and a seam down the back as this fabric was 1980s or earlier find at the thrift store and substantially narrower than the standard 44” width. Love it, will make SO many more

not sure yet if this is going to be a big blanket for the couch or material for a quilted coat. leaning toward coat since I abandoned my appliqué coat plan from last year

starting this tonight. very much not my usual fare but it looks interesting? i read some von Balthasar like 12 yrs ago when I converted and didn’t much care for him then. He has grown on me as I’ve had to deal with faith interfacing with life.
