Remember, never give out your real birthday, age, location, or even photos of yourself on the internet. Ever. If an app requests for that information, delete that app. Or lie. Say you were born on October 7th, 1956. Set your location to anywhere except your actual location. If it's not a place where you're ordering something you need, social media apps asking for anything from you is a trap. Don't fall for it.
As far as I'm concerned, I could be saying I'm 23 when I'm 85. No one would really know though. Because yes, I am actually 85. And let me tell you, none of these places have your best interests at heart and they don't give a shit about you. They're ready to sell you out to the highest bidder.
Never input your child's information online anywhere. That's setting them up for all kinds of trouble. As far as whatever app or company is concerned, you don't have any kids, pets, or family members. As far as anyone's concerned on here, I could be anybody. You don't really know me. I don't really know you. So lets keep it that way for safety's sake. I'm not saying it to be mean, I'm saying it because I care about you and don't want you pulling your pants down for big tech to see what you've got going on.
Also, you wouldn't want your pants down when a bear suddenly busts through your door, now would you? You'd wanna be prepared for that sucker. I know I would. People need to be more confusing on the internet and keep people guessing. People have lost the art of mystery and subtlety for their own damn safety and its frustrating. I'm tired. And I'm old. Really fucking old. And tired. Tired of all this bullshit.
Sorry to tell you my birthday posts are a lie. But I have to keep them guessing. The real candles I put on the cakes or whatever my family bakes for me gets put on after everyone's done taking their pictures. All the other photos I post is my art but you don't know how old I was when I really drew them. Nobody does. And that's the way I'm going to keep it.
I'm Valentine, 85, old, and tired. It took a while to operate this tech stuff but I managed to stay sharp. My real question is, why would big tech be so interested in a little old thing like me? I'm not 85 after all anyway. I could be 45 or 95 as far as they're concerned. Keep on guessing. Just keep on guessing.
Never give your ID out to anyone either. Just because they look like an official doesn't mean they are one. People dress up as officials all the time to hurt others, and yes its a crime. Just putting in my two cents. And as far as they're concerned, I'm insane and not worth their time. So move on along. What's this crazy old geezer got for you anyway? You don't know because you don't know how old I really am!
