Beginning to suspect that they cut the boyfriends/zaddy/catboy scene simply because it took away too much from the intended emotional weight of Izzy's death. With every scond of bts footage I see I keep thinking "okay, so this is why Izzy said he wanted to go, he had to listen to Ed call Stede his zaddy and then ramble stream-of-consciousness about how Zheng was like three super cool stealthy cats." It makes it too easy to understand why his will to live drained from his body. If they'd kept it all in then everyone would've been nodding along when he died like "yeah this is probably what he would've wanted"
