We Are Getting There

Extra extra chapter: Song & co part 2 of part 2:

“I have a question.”

“Ask away.”

“Did- did I have spirit dreams when I was younger?” She asked. “Or… did I talk about a nun with golden eyes and flying like a bird?”

Their card declined multiple times and they appeared to understand less and less of what me and my coworker were saying as they tried to pay. I will admit to laughing a little under my breath because I was starting to get annoyed that they weren’t understanding what we were saying and kept saying “it’s fine, it’s fine, don’t worry about it” and just didn’t pay and stood there?

It’s after like five minutes of them standing there, shrugging their shoulders and going “it’s fine, it’s fine,” constantly dropping their phone and card holder to the floor and their knees giving out that me and my coworker sort of looked at each other like 🤨👀 they’re not just drunk are they?

They stumble outside, my coworker ran after them with their phone and card holder and another five minutes pass when my coworker pokes her head through the window and asks “Should we call someone? We can’t just leave them like that.” And I look out the window to see that customer lying on the ground, feet twitching and, when my coworker came back inside, completely unresponsive.
