It's pride month so I'll allow myself to express one opinion on the internet :
There are no "exact color" of pride flags.
I see more and more sites and posts talking about the exact hex codes for the lesbian flag, or the right purple for the ace one, and how it should be more or less saturated and I just want to say: pride flags were meant to be sewn in your kitchen. To be spraypainted and to be recognised.
There are no "exact colors" of pride flags because you should do them with what you have ! Nobody should care if you use a crimson red instead of a cherry red or whatever ! Be free ! wave your colors ! The colors you have !
I realize I've been out of the blogging game for awhile, due in no small part to Pokopia, but I'll be dipping my toes back in the water today on account of the Nintendo Direct, specifically the Pokopia segment. Being able to dive will be great for adding another dimension to the environment, and will hopefully cut back on drowning when trying to aquascape in general! Not to mention, it'll give fish PokÊmon a chance to shine!
On one minor note, I'm a bit disappointed they didn't make seaweed a new type of grass, as a callback to Ruby, Sapphire, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire's diving mechanics.
I wonder how many of the water starters they plan to add; hopefully, all of them! Heck, I'm starting to think the other two waves of DLC will release the rest of the fire and grass starters as well, if the announcement background colors are any indication.
Going by online leaks, I'm guessing the new areas will be based on Cerulean City and possibly Cinnabar Island and Viridian City. I personally hope that in the late 2026 wave's case, we'll have an underground area as the leaks hinted the DLC version of Celadon City was supposed to be. And, it would be interesting to see an actual forest or jungle in the 2027 wave. Maybe as a twist, they could make it covered in ice and snow, if they're not saving that biome for a Lavender Town and/or Indigo Plateau area in any later DLC.
It'll be great to see Manaphy again! I wonder if we'll get to raise it from an egg like in PokÊmon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky. It's kinda weird it's coming out in Pokopia before PokÊmon GO...
