A Czech publisher is releasing a Czech version of Game Changers with a Czech cover and I want to cry because it's so awful. The Czech covers for Heated Rivalry and The Long Game that I complained about? They're look fine compared to this one. This one looks purely AI generated.

My first thought when I saw this was; 'what the hell is that? Ai?' Well, it's not, it was done by the same woman as the last two covers.

I might be fucked in the head from all the ai art I had the unfortunate to witness, but this is how ai mostly look like, right? I literally had to block several accounts that 'create' 'art' that looks exactly like this.

I open Twitter, for some reason the first post I see is someone trying to convince others that Bucky is not disabled, that it's just a character design. (I guess the way people keep trying to take his arm away in battle is just a funny addition to the character design, right?)

I open TikTok, the first video I see is someone trying to convince others that Bucky is racist because he was born in 1917. (??????)

I'm sorry, are we all talking about the same Bucky Barnes? Bucky? Barnes? James Buchanan Barnes? That dude?

I don't want to sound like a hater, but I have to get it out.

When I first saw it, I honestly thought the cover was AI generated (was surprised it actually is not), not only does it look really cheap, it looks... awful, but they decided to use it as a cover. As fanart it would be cool, okay, but this is book people pay for (18,74$). You would think that if they are going to change the original it would at least look good and professional. Apparently not.
